It's like if Danzig went on tour with Iron Maiden and during Maiden's set Glenn came on stage and they played Doors songs.
Brilliant
That's something I could honestly see him doing.
Wasn't Glenn in a version of The Doors for a little while?
Ok glad I was not the only one who thinks Danzig sounds a little like Jim Morrison
Danzig sounds nothing like Morrison, unless your ears have issues. However he does sound like a Nazi being punched when he tries to pick fights. He also cries like a punk over Hugh Jackman & was cool with Hasbro ripping off his old band.
Scream for me, LA woman! SCREAM FOR ME LA WOMAAAAANN!!!!
Best comment yet.
@@THEEXALTEDMUZZATHEBUZZER82 Up The Riders!!!
The most metal part of this video is Jim lighting up a smoke while his car is getting gassed up.
Hahaha that made me cringe too. Simpler times
Lol smoking next to a gas pump and drinking and doing donuts in the desert, this could never have been made today - the children would be so corrupted! Lmao
Gyawdddamn Right
Lighting it up is a bit risky, but smoking at the pump isn't or never will be dangerous. This ain't the movies, that red hot is not bursting gas fumes up.
You should see old F1 and motorsports photos with mechanics smoking in front of an opened gas tank
Bill McClintock is by far, the greatest thing the world has to offer.
Should be president
With the Apple Watch as a distant second.
@@KingsOfCalifornia extremely distant.
@@KingsOfCalifornia LOL 😆 keep dreaming fanboy
@@sam8404 💯
Jim Morrison's drunken vocal sound goes strangely good with Maiden!
Strangely sounds like The Misfits
Reminds Paul Dianno
@@littlekingtrashmouth9219 didn't notice! Thanks for pointing that out!
Well, that makes sense, because without bands like The Doors breaking down the door, we’d have no metal bands like Maiden. At all.
@@MrJett1971 Hahahah!!!!! Too funny!!!! (That was a joke, right?)
This is the best new Doors song since Reading Rainbow.
Ah a man of culture I see.
I understood that reference.
I would've said Craigslist is, but that's actually the year before Reading Rainbow.
Underrated Comment
And the best IM song since "The Man on the Edge"
In some weird alternate universe this is exactly how this song was meant to be heard. Stunning.
Who knew The Doors actually had a bassist... and he was the best there has ever been.
bassist of Macabre has the most insane riffs, or Cannibal Corpse. if you dont believe me try to play both. Macabre is the most advanced. ill be impressed if you can pull it off. Steve harris is pretty great though. One of the best. But, alex webster of cannibal corpse, and i fail to remember the name of the bassist/singer of Macabre.
"The gypsies had no homes... the Doors have no bass." - ancient Canadian proverb
Yeah. He later on formed his own band, which turned out to be quite successful. 😉
And a bassist who could lipsync on stage 😂🤣
a song from the 70s + a song from the 80s = a song from the early 90s
Lmfao true
I know exactly why this worked! The good'ol "Blues"!
Like who from the 90s?
I guess this is pretty much Danzig!
@@BillMcClintockMashups Oh yeah?! I guess, Danzig's Heavy Metal + Blues Rock + Hard Rock, minus operatic vocals + Doom atmospherics = this.
When Ed opens the doors of perception...
Best. Comment. Ever.
And breaks on through to the other side.
Met Ed on a Venice Beach in 1964...rest is history...man

Best Comment here.
@@morganstorey6380 one of them yep
This is like the most cohesive mashup I've ever heard. It sounds more like it's own original song than anything else
I thought the same thing.
Mr. Eddie Risin'...Mr. Eddie Risin'...
Eddie Rise up come an dance with me, Eddie Rise up, Eddie Rise up
😂
Me: Ahh just a laid back boring day.
Bill Mclintock: BAMN. think again.
The Doors+Iron Maiden+Vanishing Point. Oh my God yes.
Glad someone caught it
Careful, kids these days might go into shock after viewing a quality film.
I said, out loud, is that fuckin Vanishing Point? 🤣
@@unclechuck5635
Me too!! 😎
vanishing point, and some Duel, me thinks!
Glad they finally released the original version of this song.
The scenes of Jim driving around look completely natural juxtaposed with Maiden’s music!
This is so worthy of rolling down the windows and cranking it up through the middle of town! Everyone around be like, “Wait,,, What???”
When they ask whats up with it, act as if it's original and convince them they must be from some other parallel reality ;)
@@djedeye2665 yup, gaslight them.
Give them another example of the mandela effect.
Calm down satan.

Not sure what kind of dark arts are involved in these mashups but I love it
We witness Alchemy; there is no other explanation to it.
Dark arts are good!
Iron Maiden + The Doors = Danzig
Great combination!
I cannot imagine the depths of patience and skill that this kind of endeavour requires.
Absolutely brilliant.
I wanna throw a party and blast your mashups for the entire shindig!
Already done it! It was a hit, people don’t know what to think at first but end up loving the genius, ear & time Mr. McClintock puts in to these👍🏻🇺🇸
I played a whole bill lineup at work on the loudspeakers for the entire operation. it was amazing lol. everyone was happy cause it can satisfy so many musical tastes simultaneously.
Most definitely a way to go
My thought as well.
I did this pre-covid. Perfect sound track for backyard bbqs
"L.A. Woman guitar fills played by me"
is there nothing Bill can't do??
I believe there is sufficient evidence to say that no, there isn't anything he can't do
@@RocknJazzer This is a bizarrely serious reply, are you ok?
@@RocknJazzer now THAT, was a bizarrely serious reply.👏😄
Without a trace of exaggeration, that is the best mashup I've ever heard. Staggering.
This mix is more magical than both originals.
That is the craziest thing of these mash-ups: they make pretty good songs mold into one superb song that just hits it out of the ballpark.
Being an Iron maiden fan, I finally know why I LOVE L.a Woman.
The Man who gives us that which we didn’t know we needed.
Every time he brings up a new mashup, I think he can't go on with this level of perfection. But he can.
Makes me realize I haven't been listening to enough Maiden.
Maaan the ending of the pre-chorus hits sooo hard
Those chord changes you created with Jim singing "City at night" were amazing. So different sounding. Probably my favorite part.
Great, I appreciate the editing skills. i don't know why you aren't involved with some big label with your skills. "Riders on the Storm" , "Midnight" and other bits you put into these videos are fucking great. I hope you make a living off of your skill. You have a great ear for music and arrangement. I always look forward to you creations.
Too cool, it's like Bruce Dickinson is singing backup vocals to Jim Morrison, great mashup song and video!
Wow!! Those _LA Woman_ guitar fills are f'n masterpieces! Who on earth shreds like that? 🤘😉
Holy f***. This is the doors we deserve. Holy F*** I love this. I listened to the doors early in my rock experience but moved to more metal style while I spent a year in Okinawa while in the Marines. This effing speaks to me.
Crazy how it works so real
It's otherworldly.
This would be a huge hit right now. This is excellent.
I love seeing clips from "Vanishing Point" and "Duel" interspersed with this.
I thought nobody else would have caught that
I spotted Kowalski's Challenger at the 0:53 mark and immediately came to the comments to see if someone else had spotted it....now I have to go back and see if there are any more clips from Vanishing Point!
Morrison: "I think I've found us a bass player..........tell him to get his damn foot off my monitor!"
“Jim, you need a longer mic stand.”
PFFFFFFFFFFFtttttttttt hahahaha
this is like taking delicious peanut butter and amazing chocolate and making the greatest peanut butter cup EVER.
Awesome Bill as usual !!! Please don't call them "MASHUPS" This is a new genre....HYBRIDCORE and you Bill are the Pioneer !!!
Hybridcore is the perfect name for this style. Every new tune is perfection
@@randybrown1318 😂 Even Bill himself liked it 👌 On " Mash-ups " you put 2 songs together ( anyone could do it ), what Bill does is on a whole new level, years ahead of our time 🔥💯😂🔊 A true pioneer !!!
Yes.... .a new genre indeed. Many of these combos make really good songs.
What a shitty name
RETRO HYBRIDCORE
2 minutes to LA would be a massive traffic jam and this captures that frustration beautifully
The Doors probably would've played Metal if Jim was still around
Im now envisioning the GOAT Ray Manzarek figuring out a way to incorporate his sick organ play into metal music.
@@chiarosuburekeni9325 Well, Deep Purple aren't exactly a Metal band by default, but Jon Lord's organ playing managed to give the band a heavy sound. So The Doors could go for a more Stoner Rock vibe with that being said
Psychedelic stoner rock all the way
I think it would be closer to Richard Cheese....
@@thevfxmancolorizationvfxex4051 deep purple isn't a metal band just for 2 reasons: they wear colorful clothes and they surf along another tendences. The 80s metal limited the concept of what metal is. In my opinion, Purple is definitely a metal band. They play all the styles available for them the heaviest they can
Following a lengthy spate of tense deliberation, The Lizard King, Eddie and the boys settled on their band name, Iron Doors. Stratton and Manzarek were holdouts for The Maiden, but finally relented....
This is pure GOLD. Well done Bill, love your work
Usually these are great, and funny how the different genres come together. However this one for me is just plain awesome!!
"Yer a wizard Billy" - Hagrid, probably
"I'm a wot?"
@@PauloRomanini No, a Wizard!😂
Hagrid: *proceeds to rip off shirt, conjure a guitar with his pink umbrella, throw away his umbrella and start shredding*
Jim Morrison is still the Lizard King and he can still do anything. ❣️
The Lizard King can do everything!
Well said sir, well said
Forever...
Mr Mojo Risin.
Fuck yeah! Period.
CANNOT get enough of that ending.
Great tone on your L.A. Woman guitar parts! Fit perfectly with the Maiden groove!
Proof that Jim Morrison was a phenomenal vocal talent - fits right into a hard rock context, no sweat!!
Well he was a pioneer in hard rock, after all…
@@MrJett1971 The Doors were the first "dark" band.
It became a real good movie scene soundtrack... driving wild through the desert till L.A. city, arriving two minutes to midnight.
This maybe Bill’s best work! The video editing is epic!
Morrison, Maiden and Mustang the real Triple M. wow Vanishing Point and it appears you have both versions. Great work Bill, MOMGA.
It's the concert footage that takes all of these incredible mashups to unbeatable heights. The footage alone draws you farther in and really solidifies the music. It's what gives the music its genuine feel. Superb in every way!
We need a Static X mashup with something.... only the genius of Bill can figure out!!
Agreed....keep disco evil!!

Static X and Aphex Twin, maybe?
Bill, this mashup is diamonds. Then again, all of your mashups are overloaded diamond mines. They're that flawlessly great.
This is the best mashup I ever heard, by far! Like I’m listening to it 4 times per days like a normal song
My body is ready
(Edit)
My mind wasn't, I think I'm in love
I now go around singing or humming these mashups now instead if the originals. It’s crazy!
1:04 Bruce yelling at Dave: "When does my part begin!?"
Dave (thinking): "OK. He'll get a few 'Midnights' at the end."
Oh yeah! So glad to finally see The Doors get some love here!
More Iron Doors songs asap!
This one is simply too good
This is the best thing I’ve found on the Internet since forever.
...And yet annother hit from the alchemist himself, Mr. Bill McClintock -- And now, Metal Motown hour -- Soul for the heaviest hits -- and yours truly introducing...the good ones...
This is like if The Doors and Iron Maiden did a mashup
Weird, you're so right!
That’s a reach.
Interesting, it's almost as if that was the entire point of this video!
I wonder if it will ever happen.
We can only hope.
This one definitely belongs on your Greatest Hits list, Bill!
Great!!! The ending was the icing on the cake! "Midnight...........City at night!"
I mean, come on. This is really outstanding.
Holy crap, this is AMAZING!
This is genuinely great. Just classic rock goodness.
I love Iron maiden and the doors and listen them for 30 years, so this is out of this world for me...
I am speechless in front of this Masterpiece! 😲🤩 It's so perfectly blended, that, more than a mashup, sounds just like a new song!!! Congrats, dear Bill, you opened the Iron Doors, with the golden key of your genius!!! Love from Italy! 🤟🏻🇮🇹🙋🏻♀️♥️🤟🏻🗝️
I love this!!!!! I love the doors and Iron maiden!! I would love for you to do a psychedelic mash up. The 1960s had such great music. 😍❣️
white rabbit (jefferson airplane) and children of the underworld (deicide)
Ya did it again, Bill. Rock on Chicago. Rock on London. Planters- they got the nuts!
You've built a veritable Sonic Temple with this one!
How do these songs go together so incredibly well??!? Midnight- City at night!

@@kaiserruhsam Maybe... but I'm leaning more towards musical myth & legend.
Damn...this is good, really good. Possibly his best one so far... Totally jams! 🤘
Sir, you have outdone yourself! Damn this is outstanding!
This genre you've created, Billy...
Outlaw Metal?
I like the sound of that!
Another brilliant mashup. This was my first and only Maiden tour that I saw. Frehley's Comet opened. I also was in the midst of a heavy Doors infatuation at the time. You ROCK!
Jim + heavy riffs = Danzig
I especially love the end when Jim is repeating, “LA woman,“ and Bruce is repeating, “midnight“… And they continue to exchange… I know now how he comes up with these, he has a special talent that he can automatically hear the similarities and the rhythms in certain songs… He instantly knows which ones are gonna go together… Brilliant work! This one is up there with one of my favorites :-)
So fine! Especially when you bring Riders and Bruce in towards the end.
Another pure masterpiece by BMcC! Suggestion: Maiden's "Can I Play with Madness" with the Go-Go's "Our Lips Are Sealed."
For the life of me I cant understand how you could ever foresee (forehear) these 2 songs brought together into 1! This is one of the best mashups I've heard!
Two of my favorite bands mashed by my favorite masher!
Gawd, as a fan of both The Doors and Maiden, you've elevated both into a new entity. Long live the new.... whatever this is!
Bill McClintock strikes again with another beautiful mashup.
I can't stop putting on repeat
This may be my favorite song you ever mixed. The added LA woman guitar is proof of your sheer musical brilliance. So good
I always wanted The Doors to sound this good.

@TheMaidofMiddleEarth The Doors sound terrible to me. It turns out all they needed was some metal.
2:50 😮 The first time I've felt an acid wave crashing over me while listening to Iron Maiden
Two of my all time favorite bands! This is awesome work!
I liked this way more than I thought I would.
This combo is better than both originals
The best moment is the match of Jim voice and the slow part between solos...
What a great way to start my Saturday. You did it once again you insane genius you. Amazing, just amazing
Transcendent and primordial. This is what everybody wants. Bill reminds me what it is to be a musician. His videos should be the only thing playing on tv all day.
I got so many chills throughout this... Iron Maiden and The Doors are two of my favorite bands
