    I love Texas Heritage stuff. But I saw a blue denim apron with really nice pocket configurations made by Carhartt that I wanted badly, however they have been discontinued in the United States. I ended up buying the exact apron in their Carhartt's tan cotton duck, very hard like their bib overalls, coats etc; like wearing sandpaper...so it ended up hanging and not worn. After a year of searching, I finally ended up finding the Carhartt in denim apron new on Ebay and love it, quite soft but heavy duty denim. I bought two, and put one up. I like your strap configuration, the ties on the Carhartt aprons have overly long ties. Love your detailed presentations as usual! Thanks for posting.

    Do you recommend the Dubuque clamps hanging behind you? They intrigue me as being very good for case work… parallel clamps or Dubuque…that is the question…

      I absolutely love mine and very much prefer them to my parallel clamps, which are heavy, don't work smoothly, and don't clamp parallel. I've heard complaints that the Dubuque don't apply a lot of clamping force, but if you need more clamping force than these provide, you need to cut better fitting joinery, in my opinion.

      @@themountaintopjoinersshop8422 thank you for the feedback! I am going to be purchasing them tomorrow. Going to start with 48’s and 36’s. That should give me a good idea how they work for me. Thanks agin for the info.

    Just curious, could you not use your leg vise to press the stamp into some leather? I don't know much about leatherworking :)

      @themountaintopjoinersshop8422  2 года назад +1

      A leather press for stamping produces any where from 3-12 tons of pressure. I doubt my leg vise even produces one.

      @@themountaintopjoinersshop8422 Wow, that's quite a lot of pressure! I guess if you wanted to do that at home you would probably need to rig up a cheap bottle jack. Thanks for the reply, I've been really enjoying your videos!

      "Take it Slow" by SefChol. It's one of those royalty free songs. I picked it because it reminds me of Snarky Puppy, which is one of my favorite bands.
