@@jeffdemarcus2434 he truly does. And they are super nice to hang out with…back on the Dogman tour, Jerry and I were discussing the Vampire chronicle books. And we talked a lot about CS Lewis.
Technically if you read into King's X the oral history some of their songs that came on the first two albums OOTSP and GGTN were done when being a backup band with a Christian artist named Morgan Cryar. They really did help establish and bring out the best of AIC, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Pantera. I wholeheartedly agree that they should have had more exposure and that both Doug and Jerry being with Phil Keaggy helped them immensely in their beginning of being in the Christian music world. Now I agree they shouldn't have been labeled as such but their faith, doubts, struggles and frustrations got in the midst of their lives and that success didn't fully materialize but it would have been nice since they were and still are great musicians in their older age.
great band
King's X is 4 me: Real laid back monster steamroller rock, with the most honest vocals in the world
Really striking played a little slower.
Especially since it is often faster live. Really emphasizes how heavy this is!
I cannot say enough about these guys.
It's like they're a century ahead of everyone else.
I cannot believe how damned fresh this is, almost 30 years later
Kings X, one of the best
bands ever!
Dug's voice is so damn beautiful!
"Dug," lmao
Nice and slow, this version! Tight tight tight
Yes. That groove is a mile wide!!!
Their influence can’t be measured!
Just saw them in Nashville a couple of weeks ago!!! Still the coolest band around!!!
This a great band.. resurrect this.. Dug goes places nobody else even knows exist
They still *slam* this one down live
So so good. Love how Jerry pulls back the pocket to give them this sick groove....groove masters!
I've never heard how Jerry drums described better than this. You nailed it!!
Jerry kicks ass...

Takes your breath away! Classic greatness!
Best band!!!!
…EVER💯💯‼️‼️🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
MTV actually playing music LOL!!!!!
The heaviest bliues band of all time
The original grunge band with actual talent.
What do you mean? AiC, Nirvana, Pearl Jam all had talent
@@art0694they were all influenced by King's X in one form or another.
@@PaulJohnson-vn7eh Alice In Chains wrote songs in 1987 way before Kings X first album in 1988, and it wasn’t grunge.
