Wow! Thank you very much for this information! Very, very generous of you to share this with the public. I imagine that companies are all going to rush after this process because it's like a quantum leap in graphene production.

Same for me, I used to follow him since his "christian" testimony on "One for Israel" !
Now that he is promoting graphene and the wax*ne narrative, in my opinion, he is an infiltrated christian.

I'm all for efficiency and progress in industrial materials but why the need to dress it up as green technology?
It totally turns me off when people start talking about reducing Carbon Dioxide in the environment. Real ecologists have stated that nature is in a carbon dioxide drought and that 2000 ppm in the atmosphere is optimal for plant life.
Stop pretending to be a green prophet, claiming to know what would be optimal or detrimental in the future as far as calling carbon dioxide a greenhouse gas that is going to destroy the world.
If you are a Christian then you should already know what is going to destroy the world and it has nothing to do with man-made global warming through greenhouse gases.
You make me think that you are an opportunistic charlatan by promoting this in this light.
We can have the conversation about litter in the environment being disposed of properly. I'm all for that but please stop perpetuating the carbon dioxide lie.

Dr. Tour, I'm wondering in what form the graphene would mix with something like cement to strengthen it. Is it like a sheet, forming a single layer within the cement, or would it be like a powder defused evenly within the mix?

So very interesting, and how very clever you are Dr Tour to be able to transform these waste products into flash graphene!👏
The waste products described have concerned me all of my adult life, as I don't like our planet to be trashed. Carbon chemistry has always been interesting to me, and after hearing your presentation, I marvel at God's genius in fresh ways.
May He continue to bless and proper you and your team.❤️🇭🇲

13:26 Dear Prof Tour, agreed a reduction of 30+ % in concrete would be great, but for that your graphene needs to be tested at long duration uses in concrete. Meaning that how well will concrete with additional graphene behave in the long run.. will it remain high strengthy... these sort of questions need to be answered befor making it usefull in real life constructions. Dont get me wrong it looks great/impressive for now... but building constructions are interested in long term behaviour not only in fresh build behaviour.

His student made an invention, he made a patent, companies make the first product. I agree that all new technologies have unintended and unknown side effect. I hope both he and the companies do some long term studies and recycling studies. And just to mention, if the waste product is better than the plastic they gather from the land dump then it is a net win.

Buckminster Fuller called this process of doing more with less and achieving a much more productive work chain (efficiency of materials), and cleaner environment...(Ephemeralization) in his books in the 60's and 70's after the sublime design of the dragonfly which is the epitome of the acrobatic flying machine in the insect world. It is the opposite of Malthusianism from the predictions of Thomas Malthus. We have over the centuries adapted to incredibly difficult circumstances by inventing our way into the future. This seems to me to be a natural step in that progression.

James, get more into your scatology. He is coming soon. Israel is here. But before landing there is a time of "great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be", and it may be speaking of a literal interpretation of what is described in the revelation trumpets and bowls. Just saying...
