Thanks for this, and bringing this guest; I love this show. Both are so without guile in getting to deeper truth. Romans 7 is the perfect description of what’s said in the beginning of this, ie of what it’s like to follow Christ without the Spirit. 8 brings in the Spirit, and some call 8 the best chapter in the Bible (eg Derek Thomas). *Relationship* and love and forgiven and looking at Christ and walking in the Spirit VS. *Performance* and dread and reward and looking at my success/failure and walking in the ego (even in an ego-identity of being a servant of the Kingdom). Believing God about the cross and believing in Christ is counted as even more important than any works we do. (I think about how I feel when someone won’t believe me, about certain types of things. God apparently similar in that). God please bless this holy endeavor. Last comment: “Sanctification is the journey from isolation to solitude”. Great interview.
