I don't think Pharrell was trying to objectify women, I think he was trying to express how men get hated on for liking certain physic features on women. I mean it's what we are scientifically attracted too. Just like how some women like abs. There is nothing wrong in finding physical attraction to someone. The problem comes when the standard is set too high and men think that they need a women with big boobs and that is all that they should look for in a women. I don't think Pharrell was trying to objectify women, I think he was trying to express how men get hated on for liking certain physic features on women. I mean it's what we are scientifically attracted too. Just like how some women like abs. There is nothing wrong in finding physical attraction to someone. The problem comes when the standard is set too high and men think that they need a women with big boobs and that is all that they should look for in a women. Pharrell is saying men should be allowed to be attracted to physical features, but shouldn't just be basing their desires on cookie cutter skinny photoshopped models. And instead find joy in all kinds of people. Like their personality, intellect, hobbies, etc

I've admired Pharrell since his songs for the Despicable Me movies then more with his initiatives of this song and the album GIRL, which is one of my top 20 favorite albums. I'm also a bit of a feminist and that's why I look up to Pharrell, Beyoncé, Zara Larsson, Kesha and Little Mix. 🎵💗♀️
