There won't be one because it most likely still works perfectly. These things just don't break. This is the Fuel line from Milwaukee which is their professional grade stuff. The regular brushed ones you can get for cheap aren't much better than anything else but I've personally only seen one Fuel impact die after well over five long years of *constant* use.

I dropped an older milwaukee m18 impact and essentially brand new 5.0 battery in a sump crock. Didn't know I did it and was in there for at least five mins or so. Neither worked for like 4 days and then they just started working again. That was at least 6 months ago and no issues since
They will work. But them going to rust like theres no tomorrow. 2 times now 2011- 2021 flooding in Brisbane .under water for around 5 days . Took them out in the sun for a to dry them out and then open up the cases and mix of compresed air wd-40 and some silicon spray ...... They all shit them selves within a year of it happen. Water will not kill them but will so very much shorter there life spans.
I’ve found a Milwaukee impact just like this with a 5amp battery nearly still fully charged outside on the roof of an apartment building on top of an ac unit in Boston. That thing sat there for at minimum 2+years since my friend moved in. I went out and grabbed it and shipped it home 😂 works like a charm too this day even after many years outside in Boston weather
My girlfriend's brother left a Ryobi 18v drill on the roof for a whole year and it was a fairly heavy winter with lots of snow and a super hot summer. They figured it was toast, but he pulled the trigger and it started up like it was new, other than a cloud of dust that blew out of it. We used it along with an impact driver to put a new sheet metal roof on their parent's house. We figured that the 4 ah battery would at least be shot, but she topped the charge off and it's still working.

All the crew leads carry the high torque on their trucks with the utility I work for. Recent acquisitions. Use to do it by hand with a ratchet and socket. Impact gun blew the old guys minds when introduced to them. Now they don’t want to tighten bolts without it. Makes water main breaks a breeze in the hole.
Was doing some dock repairs in lake Superior this summer, DeWalt impact went about 5ft into the drink, i got in after it (water was about 37°f) and after drying it out for a day both the battery and impact both still work perfectly
My Dewalt cordless trim router had a wee swim too. Dead as a dodo. Put it on my dash, cranked up the heaters and left my van running for an hour. Came back and it was perfectly fine, still going to this day. Most of my cordless gear gets wet frequently because schedules don't allow for torrential downpours. I've long since stopped worrying about it. These tools are designed for adverse conditions on job sites.
I’ve used them in pouring rain all day long for weeks the crews abused tools in the rain. Left em out during downpour. Used them underwater etc. Never an issue. Ryobi prefers water 😂
Yeah, they did a test on RUclips, where they took all the brands and put them in a fish tank, Milwaukee was the only one that came out that you were able to use it in and out of water, all the other ones as soon as you try to use them in water would be junk

We lost thousands of dollars of power tools and batteries to salt water either they are dropped or boat passed by and wake swamped our tools even with barriers in place. When I was younger I lost my impact at the shop same one as this one and I found like2 2 years or so later in a bucket filled up with water behind the shop lol still worked and used it for years after I found it worked great
My m12 fuel was overheating with a 2 inch spade bit in pressure treated wood. I just stuck the head in a bucket of water, and pumped some water through. After that it worked again. 2 years later the chuck seized up.

You would want to take it apart and dry it out and disconnect the battery as soon as possible after using it this way and saltwater would destroy it no doubt. There's a company called nemo that makes waterproof tools you should look at then if you are going to be doing this kinda work

We used milwaukee tools back when I did crawl space and basement water diversion /flood management systems. They're the only brand that held up to the sand, mud, and dirty water daily for years
it's fascinating how a lot of people knock this. I work on the salt water and a lot of times we have to put our drills and impacts under water to drill or tighten things down. we are not using anything special just dewalt from home depot and Milwaukee and as long as we give them a fresh water wash down and a speed run to help dry them they always work.
I have literally fully submerged my impacts and sawzall in puddles multiple times to wash them clean during and after rainstorms and both are still are running strong to this day after 1 year

My corded mikwaukee hammer drill literally caught on fire after drilling its second ever whole. Returned it same day as i bought it lol. Replaced it with a much cheaper and better Bosch.
The first cordless drill I ever had about 35 years ago was a 7.2 volt Makita I dug up out of the mud. I cleaned it up good and found someone that had one and used their charger to charge the battery and it worked.
I used a dewalt impact I specifically used my non brushless one to build a dock it spent probably 3 hours underwater at a lake the battery failed about 2 weeks later but the drill has still worked for 2 years since
After working on boat i grabbed my drill bag and was wading to shore when my drill fell out of bag. I quick turned around and put bag in boat and reached into water and grabbed drill. I disconnected battery and dried it out. Still works. Gear box bearing was getting bad before so i upgraded from makita 18v to dewalt 20v since gotten dewalts impact since i struggled with lug bolts on dually and tire shops dewalt did the trick so i bought the same model. I gave makita set to brother as gift and he still is using it.
The pcb has a waterproofing layer impressively the leds don't though. And dry time would affect it in the long run most of the time. But these new tools of 2016 up has been great with moisture and water accidents

One coworker has a Walmart Hart drill, hes had it for over 3+ years same things have been done except his battery split open and the drill as well. He taped it and it still works even after a year since it happened. Walmart brand drills are at another level.
Left my M18 impact on a roof in boston last week. It was raining on all night with thunderstorms that flooded parts of maine and Vermont. We got about 7 inches. That thing wouldn't work for two days. Picked it up this past Tuesday and it worked. Haven't had an issue since. Guess I just had to wait until it was dry 😂

All I know is our truck got a brand new dewalt impact for installs about two years ago and the first month or two it put in the truck but eventually it got left in the buckets in the bed of the truck. Day and night that thing is outside. I live in Florida and it’s always raining and somedays brutally hot but that impact will always always work. Dewalt is hands down one of the most durable brands out there
