Honestly that’s kinda depressing I dropped my ryobi drill into the ocean about 2 years ago on a job when I was rebuilding a dock and she still runs like brand knew surprisingly 😂 I expected the salt water to kill it it killed the battery but that’s it 🤷♂️ every one hate in ryobi but it get the job done for me every time 🤷♂️
This is very likely what neighbors do if you’re foolish enough to lend them your tools.
Dewalt have a "safety shut off", they're most basic brushed tools seem to just run in water but they aren't built for that.
Worlds most monotoned guy ever recorded should be the name of this video.
If it'd been a Metabo HTP it would have never stopped ,and would work fine later too.
This one worked after it dried out. Nobody cares about Hitachi to be honest.
Cool video thanks for sharing
only the motor can handle it , not the electronic

Everytime something ryobi my dad has got left in rain it worked fine
But the tool wasn't floored until it died after you dropped it, that's the key thing
jajajjajajajjajaj you fack the dewalt now
It worked after it dried out. No problems.
If you held the battery above the water with would run longer
