Hey, im sorry about that. I am confused as to which part is confusing. maybe you could give me an example. lots of other people have said its a good guide so i'd definitely like to know which part you are referencing.
I'm confused on the 10% increase thing, that you mentioned close to the start of the video. You were catching the shinx and mentioned if you catch a Pokemon, at the start of your radar'ing there a 10% likelyhood that what... you're telling me the whole time your radar'ing you cannot run into another pokemon and run away... And there is a 90% chance that that can happen unless the pokemon ur trying to find shiny is by far the highest % to appear in the grass it might be like a 60 or 70 % chance... wtf ... this sounds awful !
So not a 90% chance, it scales when following the rules. Here is an article that explains it using pictures better than I explained it here. If you scroll to the part where you see the coloured zones you can see the percentages of continuing your chain there and the catching gives you the 10% boost on that. With out going to the article I can say that if you go into a patch that has the same shaking grass type that is 4 steps away there is an 88% chance that your chained Pokémon returns and with catching you get that 10% boost on top of that. I’ll take note of that and try to phrase it better in a future tutorial , thanks for commenting and watching :) www.smogon.com/forums/threads/chaining-with-the-pokeradar-the-correct-way-gp-2-2.3486334/

I’ll take note of that and try to phrase it better in a future tutorial , thanks for commenting and watching :)

The only way you can trade on on ds now is having the consoles right next to each other cause Nintendo took them off so now it acts more like Bluetooth then WiFi
