    I did a leg work out that has been giving me pain along my groin, for a few days now. These stretches actually eased the pain and genuinely have helped. Thanks!

      Probably due to the fact that with a video people expect to see a simulation of the 3 stretches. Otherwise we could just listen to an MP3 of this gentleman describing about the stretches.

    I know this vid is a little old, but I just found it after sustaining a groin strain last night in my 1st of 2 soccer games. could barely play in the 2nd one and barely walk this morning. Just tried this stretch and it made a HUGE improvement right off the bat! Thanks so much!

    Thanks for sharing your excellent advice for a pulled groin. I have been trying desperately to strengthen my muscles that are,athropede because of spinal injuries and R/A. But I overdid my exercises for my sciatica I got from exercising . And now I am icing it down and taking an anti-inflammatory. I feel like I am way too young to fall apart and want desperately to be able to get better so I can return to work one day . Being on disability benefits alone is very hard and I want to have a life again. I used to be so highly active in swimming, water skiing, hiking , mt climbing etc, and rheumatoid arthritis and spinal injuries have kicked my butt. I thank you for your time to make these great videos. I hate running to the Dr. For every thing. If it gets worse, after icing it down and your exercises. Then I will have no option.     Hi I am a regular tennis player- pushing/rotating off back foot for forehands. I have had a pulled groin for a couple of weeks. I can honestly say that within 2 stretch sequences, I'm cured. Fantastic. Thank you.

    I am 65 and was very athletic a long time ago. Now down the road I have groin pain so bad that at times I can't move. I am now doing chair yoga and learning some very good groin stretches. Hopefully it will all help me.

    Groin was sore after running 10K today, these stretches really worked...So I will add them to my pre and post stretch routine, using the suggested times for pre and post run stretching and see how it goes. Thanks for your advice :)

    I'm pretty sure I got a groin pull a couple weeks ago from weightlifting with poor posture. The pain was mild, and I wouldn't feel it when walking or running. I'd only feel the pain when raising my knees up for alternated crunches, or when hanging and doing leg lifts. I noticed running would irritate the problem, so I haven't done any running this past week. I've stuck to just stretching and cycling on the stationary bike. Hoping to get back to running soon. I have a fitness test for police soon

    About 4 days ago I was playing basketball and as i went in for a layup right when i jumped off one foot I immediately felt a pain in my groin area, I tried to walk and i could not move because of the pain,the pain when walking went away a few seconds after, then i tried to jog and It was the worst pain ever. I have been resting ever since. Its got much better and i feel no pain at all. But im scared to go back to playing and hurting it again. I got through these stretches w/ no pain at all.

    Many thanks- what a result- and immediately- looks I overstretched yesterday n it was right groin painful to sit or lay down- but after a few minutes of this exercise- all pain gone- wow. Excellent result- well done n thanks again.

    I have exactly the same problem. the doctor told me that it is a sport hernia. He suggest me for surgery. I rejected and have been doing some yoga and morning exercises. Please, let me know what have you been doing?

    I believe I pulled my groin for a second time, while playing hockey (goalie) the other day. How often do you suggest doing these stretches, a day? And when do you suggest doing them?

    When I do this stretching, I feel something in my groin, a discomfort, I won't say it a pain. What do u thing? I have this sort of groin strain since few months. All other hip movements are fine.

    I have had an operation on my groin (4 months ago or more) as I had an oversized lymph node and I often feel pain on the front of my groin/ hip. Any advice on stretches etc. I play soccer/football very often

    I injured my groin about 1.5years ago lifting a box as I was bent over and sideways. I could hardly walk for a week. My psoas and iliacus have been very tight since then. I starting getting serious with yoga and was seeing results but I just re-injured it again just taking a little hike in the woods. The pain is burning and I'm limping as I walk again. What do you think?

    I'm a long distance runner and while running a few days ago I pulled a muscle (that I can only assume is my groin) and I'm having trouble even walking. It's more of an aching pain from the inside and top of my thigh down towards my knee and my whole leg goes stiff when I attempt to walk. I'm curious if this injury is indeed my groin or if it is another problem. When I try to stretch it out I can never find a stretch that goes deep enough to help. Please send me your thoughts!

    Im a wrestler and i pulled my groin today was wondering how long would it take to heal? I hurt my groin not wrestling but stretching (probablywrong) well yeah just wondering what else i can do because i can barely walk it hurts that much

    Hey. Kinda feel it from hip flexor into glutes, and then a strain in the long groin muscle down to towards the knee. It's ok running moSt of the time, but it's the kicking motion that does it to me.

    I got a groin pull that's been buggin me for months.. hurts to sit up for long, hurts to walk and stand up from laying down.. just aches and pains from the groin to all the muscles on that leg/thigh. It's ruining everything I try to do. Thanx, hopefully the stretches help..

    I recently damaged my Sciatic nerve and had severe Glutial damage for months due to this. Its finally healed, but now Ive pulled my "V-Muscle". The doctor claims this is due to muscle loss from the previous injury. What can I do to get this new injury fixed please?

    Dear All,
    - I got a groin strain over 3 months ago in a football match because I was trying to pass the ball when I felt down on the ground.
    - Now, I can walk without any hurting. But whenever I play football, I could not run too fast or shoot the ball at the first 10 minutes.
    - After 10 minutes, I was able to kick the ball with my right foot (also my groin injury). It hurted me a little bit when kicked the ball.
    - Almost over 3 months now, and the pain is still remaining when playing football

    I tweaked left side groin muscle playing Ultimate frisbee last night. Definitely noticed a slight muscle 'give' while changing pace during one play. Today sore but no real trouble bearing weight or walking, but I do feel slight pain and tightness when doing 'adductor squeeze' movement. I'm in the middle of a marathon training program (Oct) and am wondering how long I should wait to do stretches like these and/or resume running. ? Thanks for the video and any advice you can give!

    Ran Wed. morning. Felt a slight twinge in the R groin. Slowed down and ran for another 40 minutes. No pain. Thurs. all day at work felt sharp, annoying pain. Pain scale 3/10. Thurs. night had a lot of difficulty changing positions while sleeping. Even hard to get on to the bed. Pain still sharp. Pain scale 5/10. Fri. at work pain is still sharp, radiates a few inches towards inner thigh and a few inches toward appendix. Had to do on and off toe-touch wt. bearing throughout the day. Fri. night was too painful to change any positions in bed. Woke up Sat. and could barely walk. Pain scale 7/10. Was able to straighten my posture the longer I was up and moving, but after even brief sitting, the pain and bent posture returned. I'm never pain free. Tried ice, bio-freeze and 800 ibuprofen with fair results. Need to get back to training - big charity race this fall, but I can't even walk normally, esp. upon rising. Plz help.

    Hi i have been working out and have got a pain on my right side of groin lower an area. I get an annoying pain when I sit sloutched over my desk at school or at times when driving so I gave to lean back. I went to the doctor and am going to get an ultra sound because my doctor wanted to make sure its not a hernia (my doctor could not feel any lump)
    Could it be possible I just pulled my groin?I am going to try these stretches for a while.
    Ps I feel the pain more with boxer breifs oppose to boxers

    Thanks for the video. I pulled my groin a month ago playing football.
    It's frustrating that this is a slow recovering injury. I have been using a gel with thigh strap, but still no improvment. How many of your sessions would help me to get rid of the pain.

    I tried the stretches and it feels like it does attack the area. How many times each day should this be done? Driving my school bus became unbearable and I have to take a leave of absence.

    I have been having this groin pain since about half way trough my recent pregnancy. my daughter is now 4mos old and the pain still persists. I'm not sure if I had a traumatic type injury or if it was just strained due to my awkward gait during pregnancy. either way should these stretches help resolve the problem?

    I have a tricky lower back. It's been popping during tennis which usually results in a very stiff getting-out-of-bed experience the next day. The last time it happened, my inner thigh throbbed the next day and I have pain around my knee. Sitting irritates my leg the most. Does this sound like a groin pull to you?

    My daughter is a HS softball pitcher and she has a groin injury so how long does she have to wait until she can do groin stretches? I'm not sure if she should start right away or wait, it has been about 2 weeks since she injured he groin.

    My groin bothers me on occasion especially when I try to put on my shoe (left side) or periodically when I walk or move a certain way. I am going to try the stretches you mentioned. Are there any others you recommend? Thank you.

    i am a fencer and i lunge very deeply. i was at a tournament and i lunged so much that my tendon got a bit strained right in my groin area. i have been wearing spyder tape to increase blood flow and icing it. are these good streches for that?

    I have a groin injury, that is affect through my abdominal muscles, when I cough or sneeze my inner tendon hurts; do you know how much time do I need to recover. I had this injury playing football.

    Hi, I injured my right groin about 2 weeks ago playing football. The pain comes when I really stretch, like sprinting in a game, then really hurts when I run after. Static, I can only feel the pain when I thrust my pelvis out and to the left. I have also developed little lumps/balls in my groin (like a small bake bean). They're not painful at all but wondered what they are etc. I had one in my left groin a week ago but it's gone and the ones in my right groin have seemed to get a little worse.ty

    Please help! I think I pulled my groin in Rugby today, I don't feel pain if i keep my leg perfectly straight, but if i move my foot a little to the right(my right leg is injured) I feel some pain, especially if i take a step with my foot sticking to the right even a little, I feel it in my groin-thigh area. I have a game tomorrow, will this help?
