err..What?.. Buzzfeed recognised this Mans talents and have brought Him to the attention of soooo Many People that would never have heard his name..let alone sat in hysterics over His comedy..or Cried listening to some Human emotions.. Without BuzzFeed YOU would have less Ze'Frank too.. He's the Head of Motion Pictures at Buzzfeed and Releases His own work through Buzzfeed too.. I just don't understand the hate.. when if ZeFrank was there.. You'd happily sit and watch Buzzfeed without complaint.
Ze Frank is seriously the person who I always always watch and listen to when I'm in a shitty situation in life and he fixes everything and gives me like a jet pack of motivation and strength to become happy and successful at stuff again. He's my favorite person in the world, and I'm not making this up. Like he never even has to say anything new again, I can just re-watch his videos from The Show or A Show and that would be enough (though I would love it if he talked more to us like this).
Ze could lie low for 10 years, and millions of loving fans would still be waiting to pounce the moment he returned. There is just something remarkably real about Ze Frank.
Six years later and every word is still relevant to the growth of humans through the mine (and mind) field of the last half of the first 30years. Thank you Ze Frank for sharing what most of us would not admit to even think about. You are making a difference in the world.
"It's all terrible." What?!?! No. It may not have brought you what you were looking for, but it has meant a LOT to a lot of people. That, sir, is something to be quite proud of.
He may be correct that the majority of things he's done have been failures, I don't know. But I wanna tell ya, if the ONLY success he EVER had was True Facts (and it isn't), he has brought a lot of laughter and joy to millions of people in that one project alone. Seriously, how many people can say that? Thx ZE
Mantra: be flexible, adjust, adapt. Dysfunctional beginnings with a sense of normalcy.until my suspicions were validated as a young adult experiencing the wider world. Losses added more reality and groundedness to my life but only after i suffered the insanity of grief. The world is full of wounded people acting out inappropriately.
I've been a dishwasher, pizza maker, restaurant manager, delivery driver, lyft driver, construction worker, mechanic, car salesman, cabinet maker, warehouse worker, I owned a store, sell stuff online, welder, fabricator, and now a weld instructor. Not only has my life not been a straight line, it's not even close to what I had envisioned or planned and yet I think I found what I was meant to be doing anyway. I think Henry Rollins had the best take on life. Just say yes to everything (within reason).
Ze, if you ever read this comment, I want you to know that your videos have saved my life. Your humor, relatability, and most of all, honesty about all parts of the human condition have helped me laugh, cry, and persevere through one of the hardest stages of my life. I can't thank you enough. Sending hugs, and hoping you are well.
So many years ago, I used to be addicted to making flowers on the zefrank site. To this day, it's still one of my favourite things that's been on the internet.
I have known about ZeFranks RUclips channel for two years now but I had no idea that he made this video. Now I understand why his videos are so great. I always thought that it was the best and most funny way to acquire knowledge, about nature and the animals, that I've ever seen. I'm surprised he doesn't have more subscribers than what he does. Actually I take that back I'm not surprised because it seems like a lot of people nowadays are hopelessly lost watching Kim Kardashian instead of wanting to gain knowledge . Really we're watching idiocracy play out
not sure how I missed this. I really like how ZeFrank thinks and challenges my own thinking. More people need to see this - for now, I'm sharing it on FB and twitter with hopes others will watch this. There was a lot he shared that resonates with me. In addition to the video of Harry dancing to ZeFrank's words, this quote was gold for me: "The things that make you feel the most alone have the greatest power to connect you to other people" ZeFrank.
Pretty good description of life. I've had thirteen different jobs in my life (I'm in my mid-30's.) There's definitely something to be said for having varied skill sets. And it's true that you should only do something if you truly feel compelled to do it. Just "wanting" isn't enough. It has to be a drive, and if the drive isn't there, it's a futile exercise.
@@superdoc177 at the end of the day you have to answer your own questions and find your own answers. Kind of like how "one size fits all" never truly fits all.
this is a long way of saying to somebody, “do something you love and you will never work a day in your life”. if you are doing what you really love, the rest of the emotional stuff Ze is talking about doesn’t disappear, but it also doesn’t ruin your day.
Dear Ze Frank; I want you to know how much I deeply appreciate You and work. You are both motivated and motivating. I find myself captivated, inspired, motivated, and, encouraged by your videos. I wish I could articulate to you how grateful I am for your work and for you as a human, but I am not the best at writing, (although you make me feel as though I could be the best at anything and everything) so please know that I am ending this message empowered and with tears welling up in my eyes and a warm optimism welling up in my heart. Thank You So Much! ~ Stacey
My mantra for life that's getting me through everything these days is: 'Live by the Sword. Die by the Sword.' It's ultimately accepting responsibility for everything in your life. When you make a decision for better or worse you are picking up the sword. Any consequence that comes of that is your doing, you chose to pick the sword up after all, if you have victory or are killed you chose to walk that path. It's keeps me accountable, keeps me honest and allows me to enjoy any success's also.
When "The Show" started in 2006 I was working at Yahoo!, part of the group that categorized and annotated sites into the Y! Directory. What Ze was doing ended up being part of our discussions about how to describe and categorize content. I'm sure the fact that I was a "speed racer" had nothing to do with it (I kept the duck shirt for years)
I know you will never see this but I'm sort of a sapiosexual and I'm proud to say I've got a safe distance crush on you. Please keep doing how you do. You give me joy and hope for our planet. MUCH LOVE!!!
Still can't connect buzzfeed and my hero Zefrank. I watched him from when he just made some funny flash animations. I get the money part, cause you need to grow up and provide, but buzzfeed....
Sounds like my life in reverse without the neuroscience degree, from artschool to success and now I’m depressed just watching science videos unemployed
Like Wow! he is an incredible dancer - that was modern dance created by Martha Graham in the ‘50’s. i think she would have loved him. your narrative and the way you created used your cultivated voice, cadences, and acting abilities was so in sync with his movements. incredibly talent. thank you much :) 🎭🌷🌿🌼🌱🌷
Up to 4:50, I would strongly suggest that Ze Frank's advice for success could have been the ability to sell yourself - to be charming - to have one of those "faces" that is readily acceptable to others. Having this (these) qualities turns all your words to songs and people into willing followers.....No doubt Ze Frank's words may be wise but for people without that (these) quality, it's would be (invoke Charlie Brown's teacher) "Wha Wha Wha Wha Wha" and uphill all the way.
PURE GENIUS LOVE HIS HONESTY SO REFRESHING TY EVEN MY TWELVE YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER LISTENS TO YOUR PODS WHICH I SEE IS MAKING A GOOD MORNING DIFFERENCE IN HER LIFE STAY SAFE HEALTHY HAPPY AND BLESSED 💯 GOD'S BLESSINGS ON EVERYONE'S HOUSEHOLDS AND HEAVENS PANTRY SET ALL OUR TABLES ALWAYS 💯🙂🐀🐺🐶🐱🦖💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You shouldn't plan to write a novel. You should have an idea that you plan to write. Not the time necessarily, just developing that idea until you do begin writing it.
What he talks about at the end here is basically what Casey Neistat wants to do with his new 368 venture. Sadly, I don't put much stock in either one succeeding, but I wonder why they can't make it work.
We need more Zefrank and less Buzzfeed
Or Zefrank at Buzzfeed apparently

Everyone could try subscribing to the ZeFrank youtube channel.. ya know? Cut the buzz feed out..
Simple, yet well said.
Ze is playfully and vulnerably wise. I wish he'd speak at my college graduation
"Vulnerably wise" is an interesting choice of words. Really.
I wish he’d just come over for coffee & chat.

Ten years later and still relevant. I’m sharing this with my creative college kid who might be a little lost.
Ze could lie low for 10 years, and millions of loving fans would still be waiting to pounce the moment he returned. There is just something remarkably real about Ze Frank.
I don't understand why this only has 1144 views and two comments. This is gold.
+Louis Rossmann its on the wrong channel with to long name :(
Go to watch a ted talk, and I find Louis Rossmann in the comment section. Now that's gold.
Louis Rossmann indeed
finding you here is like finding a forgotten starburst candy in a drawer
Keep fighting the good fight, my man. 👍

Harry's story/dance really did hit me in the feels.

How is this guy not on every talk show
Loved Harrys dance, and Ze Frank narration, made me cry. What fantastic, shockingly intimate collaboration...deeply real. Transformative.
I must try to find that dance performance as a standalone video. It was beautiful.
ruclips.net/video/elILetNPyr4/видео.html is it. Gorgeous.
Everybody is special. We're all unique, too. Just like everyone else.

I feel exactly the same way.
I literally believe I owe ZeFrank my life. ❤
A long time ago he saved my life. I will be forever grateful for his assistance overcoming my human weakness.
So many years ago, I used to be addicted to making flowers on the zefrank site. To this day, it's still one of my favourite things that's been on the internet.
This guy seems so approachable and realistic!
Make friends with voices in your head and hope they are kind, they may be all you have at some point. Much luv

Yup

Harry's dance was beautiful! It made me cry.

It’s been eight years and I have yet to print my shoes.

You forgot the most important part of becoming an actor in Hollywood: becoming a Scientologist. That's why I'm not an actor.
Omfg why wasn't this in my feed 6 years ago

Anyone have the full quote he is referring to at 7:59?
#ZeFrank helps my mind and lost creative heart. Thanks for posting
Zefrank, I can't print my shoes yet!
You can. You just need to learn how. And the first 3 tries will be horrible. Buy a 3D printer.
I have no more depressions,I'm cured.
This is what the human do.

Successful accountants affect change through numbers, he doesn’t understand what a CPA or CFO does, but I’m sure he does
Here is golden advice. Learn to read and speak Spanish.
youtube commenters always find a way to pick the most important thing in a video :D
i would love to have a beer with you ZE(n) .
Guess a good mantra is
Just keep swimming, swimming,swimming...

And that was kind of a pun
I’m wearing printed shoes

Great arteries.
Zefrank. The internet's favorite DILF
I've heard him say it before, that he was hired to speak Spanish when he didn't know Spanish....that just doesn't make any sense at all.
no subs, shame on you
