1. You can install the apk before pasting/extracting the obb. (Either way is fine)
2. You can directly extract the obb file to the obb folder. (Just make sure the "com." folder is not duplicated.)
3. Not all apk/obb will work, but most work. Please do not dislike just because it did not work for you. The tutorial is done correctly.

It says the folder Is read only whenever I try to paste the extracted obb in the obb folder. Does this mean that the obb I got isn't legit or am I doing something wrong.

Hey so I keep having an issue. I downloaded an apk/Obb for mystic messenger to get unlimited hourglasses (In game currency basically) but after i copied the obb and downloaded the apk it didnt work? Like there was no change to the game vs if i downloaded it normally from the play store, (so no free hourglasses) i tried it with a few different apks/obbs for this game and keep gettin the same thing, what could i be doing wrong?
there was nothing wrong from the installation of the obb. it's just that u probably got clickbaited and the game was actually not modded.

In the video, the pop-up was the one who made the mod and not the game itself. Some modded apks does not have those.

obb downloading means it's downloading game files. If there's no error you could wait for the download to finish.
@@88Xfi Ya but the obb downloading stops at 61% when it should be 100% why does it stop. I even told my Cohab that it stop 61% with proof an dmy Cohab from Lifeafter has never heard of obb downloading but she knows that it a file but it does download the obb downloading but it stop at 61%
