I present to you three Sonic Mania remixes!! There's not much to say about them honestly, besides the fact that they were the first things I made in Deflemask! So they're about two years old. I'm really proud of them even now, I think they really capture the originals well. I've just never gotten around to uploading them until now, so here you go!

@@PlusSizeModaIt’s different, yes, but pretty much just an arrangement with new instruments. Those would be lost, leaving it almost identical to the original.

Thanks, yeah the only one I used the Sonic 2 drums for was Chemical Plant. Which, I kinda wish I hadn't lolol

tips: use toy story's double psg system and also mind that sometimes you will have to cut a psg sample with another sample
Imagine a real Studiopolis zone Act 1 or 2 Génesis/Mega Drive cover. That would be awesome and very difficult hahah.

This really does sound like it would come out of the genisis! Awsome work! (Also, quick question, what is the instrument name for the strange whooping sounds in EarthBound? The sounds that play in the cave theme and such. I'm trying to figure it out by myself, but I just cant seem to find the instrument. I found a soundfont that works, though.)
Well that’s because it really would come out of the genesis! It’s hardware accurate! Although the size might be too much for a game, I can’t say.
For the whooping sounds you want the basic sine wave instrument. It might not sound right at first but have it pitch slide a good distance quickly and you’ll hear it. Add a delay as well for maximum effect.
