Hearing Alex share this story several times is actually one of the things that inspired me to create this channel. Perhaps the greatest car story ever told.
I agree, had a Chevy Beretta with a worked 3.4 DOHC engine replacing the 3.1 with a beefed up 5 speed, axle's. Passed a Trooper going about 75 in a 45, he was across 4 lanes of highway with no median. He hit the lights right after I passed him, I said F'K IT down shifted & pushed it to the floor. I knew he had to wait for traffic to clear before crossing over to chase me. It was a long sweeping right hand turn & about a mile away was a right turn that went to a 2 lane road that mirrored the 4 lane from about 500 yards. I barely made the right hand 90 degree turn sliding sideways going to the 2 lane. When I got on the 2 lane I slowed down & watched the 4 lane that was a little below me. About a minute later the I saw the TROOPER going like hell passing cars on the left & right. I took the next left turn back on to the 4 lane & down the road about 3 miles THERE THE TROOPER SAT WITH A VERY SIMILAR CAR PULLED OVER. As I passed I blew the horn & waved then floored it, ( I was only 19 years old ) the Trooper ran to his car knowing that he pulled the wrong car over. There was a town just ahead & I took a left back to my garage ( shop ) & waited, never heard anything after about 5 minutes. I went along with my day & never doing that with that car again. Now the 68 Camaro had a lot of KRAZY COP STORIES, BUT I NEVER PAID ANY TICKETS, LOL.
At the time I was scared shitless, never ran from the cops before especially a State Trooper, LOL. The one cylinder wall ended up cracking on that engine & sold the car as is, I LOVED THE BERETTA GT especially with the beefed up 5 speed & that worked 3.4. The thing about the 3.4 out of a Grand Prix GT was it ate timing belts & it was a PAIN IN THE AZZ TO REPLACE ONE. THE GOOD OLD DAYS, NOW YOU CAN HARDLY GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING, THEY JUST SEND THE TICKET THROUGH THE MAIL, OH BOTHER.

@ Martyr4JesusTheChrist You do not have a very good command of the English language. Trying to make yourself appear more intelligent than a group of people on the internet is almost always going to backfire, as it has in your case. Don't string together a bunch of ten-dollar words when you only have a two-dollar vocabulary.
for those who didn’t understand the story: (correct me if i’m wrong) the guy talking is alex roy, an infamous underground racer. at the start, alex is driving in his m5 polizei car with a woman. the woman tells him to drive faster and when he does, he gets pulled over by a state trooper (police). the state trooper immediately recognizes alex roy and asks where alex is heading. after alex tells him, the state trooper says that the state troopers in the area he is heading have all been trained by him. he tells alex that everyone in the police academy have read his books to study what their up against. the police gives alex a stack of tickets and expects alex to lose in court, which means alex will have to pay all those fines and lose his drivers license. when alex arrives at his destination, a man recognizes alex as well and is excited to meet him. alex on the other hand is bummed out and doesn’t feel like talking. the guy hypes alex up as invincible but alex quickly shows the man his stack of tickets. the two go out for lunch and alex tells him what happens. the other man tells his side of the story, saying he was in the military and is now a state trooper. he tells alex that the one way alex can get out of this mess is if he goes to court and pleads “not guilty.” the judge will ask him “where is the evidence?” and alex will reply “i have a lot of evidence.” so, when alex does this and gets out of those stack of tickets, he asks the ex-military guy how that worked. when all the state troopers who are fans of alex, the ex military guy (also a state trooper), and alex meet up at Denny’s, they tell him the origin of this secret code that can get you out of any ticket. the story is basically about a meth lady who calls the police every month about someone stealing her drugs. because of this, the police always send the newest member (ex-military guy in this case) to check out what’s going on. after the police inspectthe house, the meth lady always at the end shows the amount of poop in the toilet saying there is “a lot of evidence” that someone else was in the house. this story has created the secret code that if anyone says “i have a lot of evidence,” they are able to get out of ticket because they know the about a inside joke in new york. p.s. prior to this, i didn’t know who alex roy was either.
My impression was the end result at meth lady's apartment, she went #2 so bad while high she panicked when she came out of it. And insisted it couldn't be hers. Lol!

I had a long list of questions once. Half of them the cop couldn't answer because he didn't remember. Around question number 25 of 50 the judge said that's enough and dismissed the ticket immediately. Just tired him out and they had other easy cases to get to.

Great to see Alex in here as well!
MORE ! ( not more evidence lol ) but MORE stories from this fine upstanding citizen 😀😀 greetings from Thailand
Not only a good story, but what a storyteller! I think he speaks as well as he drives. :D
LMFAOO!!! That was a good one! Great guest speaker Ed. Halarious close out.
This video is one of the reasons why i love this fucking Hobby so much. So much varriety, so many Stories, so many stories...
Please have more Alex Roy!!!!! This is one of my favorite stories of all time!!!!
More Alex Roy content please!!!!
This is the best one yet lmao .... Alex Roy killed me lmao
Did he tell a story within a story?
Legendary storytelling right there.
We need more Alex stories! This was awesome!!
This channel needs more Alex Roy!
I have the UTMOST respect.. for that car, the stuff that could be done in THAT car, how it was liveried and the things he did in that car.
AMEN to him.
ED, thank you so much.. for bringing him on.
Edit:
Id like to know one idiot thing:
Alex had the E39.. detailed n polished "recently". But they.. took off all of the famous "livery". Why?
Why.. couldnt someone have "cleaned" up the car.. without touching the Livery?
It' was all from an era that doesnt' exist anymore. Today's rallies have become Luxury super car vacations.

I have to completely agree....
The cars are taken out for a "4 day run" (all expense paid schpiel).. in tandem with each other. All of the events that Brock Yates, Ed or Alex Roy were able to achieve...
Was the connection... the personal 1 to 1 connection with their vehice of choice.. (based on their specifics and what they forcast their goals needing).
That.. connection.. is gone. The Luxo drives... (and there are 100s of 1000s of them). Some lease car (very few are owned or older than 10-15yrs) is paraded around...
Then back it goes into its.. hyperbaric chamber...with battery tender having met "its" yearly agreed upon mileage through Hagerty.
Greatest car story ever no doubt.
In modern day with so many story's being told. This is one of the best lol. Thank you!! Love the channel!!
With my luck it would go like this
Judge: Do you have any evidence?
Me: Why, yes. I have A LOT of evidence.
Judge: Show me.
So your telling me I spent years defeating NY state troopers in traffic court the hard way and all I needed was a "whole lotta evidence?". Damn it lol
I saw the thumbnail and immediately knew Alex Roy was in the house. Great story!
BEST TICKET STORY EVER!
More Alex!
11:20 When you think so hard that the lights in real life flicker

One of best storytelling right there.... "I got all this evidence " lol love it
2nd time I watched this video all the way through. This is a good one
The title is not clickbait, this truly is one of the "greatest" stories. Thank you Alex and Ed for sharing this one.
Translation: "Your Honor, I've got shit."
Great driver...even greater storyteller!
This is the quietest i've ever heard Alex Roy talk.
This deserves millions of views
Great friggen storyteller! Thanks!
jedi mind trick with the hand movement. hilarious ----
One of the coolest stories I’ve ever heard on this channel so far!
Great episode bring him back!
one of the best in a long time, this one got me. Alex roy and rabbit are the top ones now.
i legit thought, i have a looot of evidence, was some kind of codeword. Like if the judge was caught with his mistress by the cop and a deal was made when someone in court says, a looot of evidence, he goes spot free.
Excellent story ax do excellent storyteller. This one will leave you smiling!
Guy: I have a LOOT of ev-
Tekashi69: No he don't.
