This was EASY the shot of the year. I mean there are hole-in-ones and there are tap in eagles, but nobody can tell me that any shot took more imagination, planning, and skill than this Na-flop! Totally awesome.

I did this at my local earlier in the year. 20 yards from the hole, bucker between me and the flag on a narrow green. Opened my SI, comitted and landed 1 foot from the pin. I've dubbed this shot the Hail Mary as the ball just falls from the heavens. Amazing when you pull it off.
I go as a spectator to just about every big time golf tournament I can drive to. Television rarely gives a true illustration of how really great each and every golfer on the tours is. This is one of those times.
Or my shot ,totally sculled, hits bunker lip fringe, and pops on the green, and as usual act like I meant that to happen! Pure (dog shit) as my buddies would be Screaming , pissed off! I love this game! I also believe in karma and go to church every Sunday.!

Ranking is a statistics and Numbers thing but rating is how people see and personally rank, Ricky Fowler is a great example. I love Rocky but he is over rated at the moment. Saw the swing change drama. Saw the sixteen at the Valero Texas Open. Have seen him be consistently, not just good, but very good for years. Lebowski would absolutely agree, and so do I. He's the other DUDE, man.
I hit one like this this year, it was a bad nine and on the 9th and I completely lost my approach shot behind the 60-70 foot trees beside the green, so I flopped one straight over cause I had nothing to lose, landed next to the pin and just rolled about 6 feet, best shot I ever made, still missed the putt lol

Watched him do this in person at Innisbrook earlier this year. Pulled one off the fairway into the red tee box of the second hole. Stopped Bubba dead in his back swing who was teeing off at that time. Proceeded to flop it over an oak tree between 2nd tee and green to about 2ft. I used to do that by accident all the time, I'd be attempting an approach from >120 yds with a full wedge and I'd sky king it for some reason, probably getting too wristy with the hands behind the ball. And I knew what a flop shot was but I couldn't do one intentionally from greenside if I had to, only accidentally when it was unwanted. Later I got better with irons and I'd take deep divots and always clip it solid, I had a 150 yd 8 iron (not bad for a total hacker) and never skyed it anymore. But then I couldn't hit any club over a 7 iron without duck hooking it, because my body wouldn't turn and get my hips open at impact, I was chronically sore around the waistline. Had to give it up.
i made a shot like that off the green and put it up about 100 feet the guy i was playing with asked where it went i said it will be down in a little bit , only made one more like that over a tree and on the green feels good when you make a shot like that , the rest of my game pretty much scks
I’m not sure what the fuss is. I’ve done that with a driver before...admittedly I was trying to hit it 200+ yards at the driving range but that’s not the point!

it was just a flop shot though. no reason to get excited about it, its a very straight forward shot and easy to do.
