Hey man, I love your videos! I have binged all your content and gave me and my friends a leg up in our base design! An idea for your one of your future videos and something I would love to hear more about from you is maybe the elevator? We tried incorporating it into our base, and it is very difficult to do without having some practical sense on how to maximize and there is not a lot of good tutorials on it? Once again, thank you for everything that you do!
I only play on console and power was introduced on PTB around Thanksgiving. Your videos are easy to follow, and you explain things very well. I’m having trouble building a base with wind turbines and solar panels that we are also going to use to take the patrol helicopter. Any advice or base designs are greatly appreciated.
Hey thanks! Preventing the patrol heli from damaging your root power sources will be difficult. I suppose you could try and elevate them high up and engage heli from lower down, but even then heli can do significant damage to a base. The common practice is to build a heli tower next to your main base. I'll give this some thought.
I did not get the point tho, am noob when is comes to electricity but when you connect large bat like that and than you dont use batery to power up something else why is it good to charge it bcs i never seen you used large battery output
Hi man great videos my only question is(maybe this is a difference between console and pc) but on console it states that it had a 80% charging efficiency but if you then sent 120 it would be enough right?? I don't get why you do 125. Anyone who knows this pls tell me. Happy new year!
Excellent question. You determine the 80% charging efficiency, and so minimum charging requirement based on active usage, using the following equation: Battery Wattage ÷ 0.80 = charge requirement Large Battery 100 ÷ 0.80 = 125v Medium Battery 50 ÷ 0.80 = 62.5 so 63v Small Battery 10 ÷ 0.80 = 12.5 so 13v See my latest video about how you can situationally use this based on the current active usage of any battery. Cheers!

Thank you! I actually have an elevator video in the works. Should be uploading that this weekend. I'll push it through for you.
Elevator video with practical uses in a base design I have seen no bases with elevators
@@xLILxWANGx yep. I'm about done with my elevator video. Stay tuned
Great vids!!
thanks!
Awesome videos!
thank you!
Great content, had to sub. You should look into doing regular streams/game playthroughs and I'm sure you would blow up a bit more
Thanks! I'm going to be adding playthroughs very soon, and streaming after that.

Excellent question. You determine the 80% charging efficiency, and so minimum charging requirement based on active usage, using the following equation:
Battery Wattage ÷ 0.80 = charge requirement
Large Battery
100 ÷ 0.80 = 125v
Medium Battery
50 ÷ 0.80 = 62.5 so 63v
Small Battery
10 ÷ 0.80 = 12.5 so 13v
