I love the system u made man! You are great with wiring and organization, really satisfying to watch! Can you show how u would do this system with multiple generators and the industrial system with a refinery? so this way for example, a player drops his loot in drop boxes, the loot gets auto sorted. Then in an emergency, the system would automatically start sendind crude to a refinery, autostart it and consume the low grade to its multiple generators. I imagine u could even go furtther and make a system where it know how many generators need to be on and cycles through them.
Like the idea, here are my thoughts: E.g. I have 4 turbines and 8 solar panels, combined aprox 400watts attached to a nih core loading 3 large batteries. Is it possible to set up a system with generators to generate power to replace the turbines in panels in case they get destroyed and the generators would still charge the batteries? My first guess is to implement your generator system between the root combiners and the nih core and using a blocker to shut this generator circuit off. May that work?
Oh and nevermind the 100 watts difference from input to battery output, the „missing“ 100 watts wont be used in this Kind of emergency, because they are for my factory and base lights. The Main 300 watts are turrets, sensors, cameras etc.
Managed myself. Just added one blocker between root combiners and nih core to stop the generators and another one before the /or switch which opens as soon as power stops coming in from turbines and panels to start the generators. Hooked up 9 generators, 3 for each battery. So in default panels and turbines load the batteries and in emergency the generators replace the panels and turbines and load the batteries via die nih-core.
dud i really like your how to's everything is so clean you have a lot of info. but can you go through the circuit 1 time complete and not add ANY of your explanations or extra talk. then second time maybe add that.
Hey thanks! Yep, my newer videos are becoming exactly that. No bs for the build, commentary at the end if I have extra info I'd like to give. I appreciate the input.
love the inowledge you dropping but i just need to see where to wire things up and i have been playing this video over and over and i still havent been able to wite it up its been 3hours just show a still image of the diagram and talk you move too much

I figured this out a month ago..but I am glad someone actually did a tutorial on it...good job us old people need the help lol
Hell yea, i've been looking forward to this forever!
Nice content Man thank you
Great video as allways!
I quick pictorial would be nice to reference after the video. Great video thank you.
Cool circuit! 👍
another great video
Is there a way to remove the timer or do you need timer ?

how do you add more generators or batteries to this setup without messing it up?
You would be so awesome if you could remake this video after the electrical update.
cool

Do you have this saved on Rustirician?
I don't, sorry. It's on my list of things to do...
i need 1 but with no soler power i need to hide that iu have it at all
I have solar panels running so when the sun goes down the generators kick in which I nice
I put my generator after the battery for when the battery is empty for some reason.
That's another great way to use generators. I'll probably make a video about that one of these days.
heyyy
yoooo

@@AustinKlailaGames Thank you, really was worried you would take wrong... happy you did not. haha
@@ThatGuyOG_Rust nope. No offense taken whatsoever. I need the feedback to improve my content.
