I’ve also heard the males have blue translucent like coloring on the end of their fins like yours. My male jag is also like that. On the females, it’s just yellow and clear with no blue.
For that it depends on how good the genetics are of the fish, hondurans are the top quality like Diablo they have the most blue and depending on how pure the bloodline is is how much color the fish will have
manguense are my favourite big cichlids, them and Dovii. Females have a rounder belly, rounded dorsal and anal and a flatter head profile. Much more reliable than markings that come and go and may or may not be visible.
