I have to say, just bought this unit and MY GOODNESS!!!!!! It's a BEAST and I'm happy with my Ego purchase
Oladipo - isn't it so fun? We recently got their multi-tool, too if you want to check out that video. Those things SLAP
Thank you for such a detailed and well-filmed video review. You make it worthwhile and easy to watch! Congratulations to you!
Thank you so much for that feedback! We work really hard on these reviews so we’re glad you like it!
Love my ego mower, been thinking about grabbing the blower too, now I’m sold! Thanks for the review, very informative.
You got it
Just found your channel researching this blower. Glad I did. Great, quality content. Loved that you did some science and math. Subscribed!
We nerd out about this stuff. Thanks for subscribing!
Thanks so much for this information. I've been using the Stihl gas powered but at 73 years old and just diagnosed with 5 tears around my rotator cuff I can no longer pull the cord, you 've sold me on this product. My compliments to you on a beautiful back yard and oh what I'd give for that gorgeous lawn.
Yes it is a great blower! Thank you so much for the compliment on my yard!
Just joined the EGO family with the IQ trimmer and love it. Now have the mower on the way. This would fill the gap nicely! Enjoying your fun videos.
Love to hear it, Richard. Luckily you already have the battery so you could get the tool only version for pretty cheap (if you don't win this one).
just got mine and it is fantastic. It's the blower I've owned but I am very impressed with the power, ease of use and especially how fast the battery charges
It is pretty wild when you get that turbo button turned on!
That's some impressive power - and the variable speed looks like a great feature!
We thought so too! Although I'm usually the type to just go full Turbo the whole time
Great video, lots of information, concise, and not unneeded information.
Thanks, George! We hope you enjoy some of our others as well. Any requests?
This is a great review! Thank you. You made it very interesting and fun to watch👍
Glad you liked it, Rob! Thanks for watching.
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
Yes I love mine
Being a first time home buyer I've made a lot of mistakes buying tools, but after 7 months in I am learning alot through these videos... this would be a massive upgrade from my black & decker blower if I win.
Thanks Rubein! Fingers crossed!
Great review. I currently have the 650 CFM version and love it.
Thanks T H! Did the turbo knock your socks off too?
Love Ego products and would love to add this blower to my arsenal!! Great video!
Thanks, Joey. We've got you down.
Great review. I purchased a EGO ST1511 Trimmer a month ago and I love it. I've always had Stihl equipment but EGO is my choice now. The EGO blower is next. Your video helped me make my choice...
Thanks Mark! It’s my blower of choice these days and I have TONS haha.
Love my older Ego blower. Would love to get this one as I have 2 huge maple trees and this would certainly help. Thanks for the great video
Oh boy! Those things are going to DUMP this fall....
New client to Ego brand. Dropped gas from the past to batteries. The 1420 e IQ weed trimmer was my first buy and became sold. As the first RUclips video that changed my life and lawn service business forever, this video will be on my library as the second video to my second purchase in this blower, need to donate my Gas back blower that is still new. Thank you 🙏
Wow! Thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoyed the video!
Definitely would love to win this, my dad has a old junky blower and I’ve slowly been replacing all his tools with ego. So far for him the edger, chainsaw, hedge trimmer, and power brush. This would be a great addition! Love the vid man keep it up
Thanks, Ben! We love to hear it!
I recently bought an EGO Zero Turn riding mower and EGO self propelled push mower. The performance from both had been mind blowing and mind saving because they're both so quiet! That said, I can understand why this blower can be that good!
It's a good one, Thomas! How do you like the zero turn?
I switched from Gas to this blower last season, and I love it. The ease of grab and go with all that power is amazing!
Isnt it??
How does the performance compare to gas?
Very informative and entertaining review. Just bought a Power Head, Trimmer, and Edger and other than needing a spare battery they do the job pretty good. Now looking for a blower. Thanks for the review.
How do you like the multi-tool?
@@TheLawnReview Just got it yesterday and did my back yard on 1 charge.I have a half acre.Used the edger and that thing eats up the yard material something fierce.Ive been a gas yard tool guy for awhile but my elbow can't take nomore rope pulling. So far so good. Thanks again for your review pretty much made up my mind on what route I'm going next.
@@guitardogfish9635 Love to hear it. Maybe we should do a review of the multi-tool. Edgers are amazing products if you use them right.
@@TheLawnReview You know anything about the cultivator attachment.Other than the blower that's my next purchase.
Great video. Just starting my EGO collection and a blower is next. Eventually hoping to save enough for the Z6 zero turn!
Awesome! Blower is great obviously. The Zero Turn we would love to get our hands on!
I went all in with E Go equipment except for the mower. This blower is a monster and I love it. The hedge trimmer is one of the best I have ever used. This is where it goes downhill. The IQ trimmer is underpowered and digs in very easily. I thought that the auto feed would be great instead of a bump head but I was wrong. When the line comes out it’s like all hell broke lose and the trimmer is all over the place. I wish I had my Honda four stroke back even though it was really heavy. Now for the worst part, the edger. It is severely underpowered, slow to get up to speed and doesn’t have enough adjustment for taller lawns. Again, I wish I had my heavy Honda edger back. Buying these two items was a big mistake and they now decorate the corner of my lawn shed. Going back to gas. Time will tell how long the battery life is on the E Go equipment.
Wow - thanks for letting us know. We have the edger as well didn't have any problems, but don't have super long lawns. Never used the hedge trimmer either - do you have the attachment or the full on hedge trimmer?
Great Video!!! I arrived here researching this blower as well.
Thanks for stopping by! Glad you liked it.
New to ego and I'm in love with them
Wow! Strong words but we are here for it!
I love my EGOs . Been using them for more than 5years. My blower is a 480cfm Wil give it to my son for a new one l
I'm sure he will love it!
LOL...WOW! That was a very well done video, and the comic relief was shot on. REALLY liked the TURBO SPOT! Over all, Very Good Presentation. I found your video while looking for info on top rated/ best in class/ most powerful leaf blowers!
Just what I was looking for brother. (Ding...) SUBSCRIBED!
STEVE
Thanks, Steve! Glad you enjoyed it. Any requests for us?
Thanks for the excellent review!
Thanks, Joe!
Looks like this is the one! Great review...Thanks!
Yessir!
Just got my ego 765 love it so far thanks for the video
Love to have the second one have a small lawn care service would be a blast
@@darwinmccraw5437 Thanks Darwin, we got you down!
Great Review! My Dad needs one, I need one, Father's Day! Love 'your energy review! Thank you
Thank you for watching and commenting! Hope your dad likes it !!
Great information. Thank you!!
I got one, and it's everything you say and more 🌬💨⚡️⚡️⚡️
The thing rocks, brother. Glad you like it!
Ego is amazing technology, only getting better and better 👍👍👍
We agree! Thanks for the comment
Been looking into ego blowers. Thanks for the review.
Thanks JBS! I was a Stihl guy for longer than I could walk but I’ve been converted.
I have been wanting to get an Ego Blower for a few years now. I cheaper out an got a Worx blower thinking I would replace it with an Ego when it dies. Stupid think still works good enough for blowing around grass and drying the cars.
Keep holdin on! The EGO will be there when you're ready.
I just bought my Ego 765 today from Lowes. So far, I've been very impressed with the power of this thing. It was moving wet leaves that my gas blower wouldn't have moved. This is my 3rd Ego product and I have enjoyed and have been impressed with all 3.
Love it! The wet leaves are the ultimate test of power. What gas blower did you have?
I'm excited to check out this new blower!
It's a great one, Lisa!
great video! exactly what i was looking for!
Awesome - are you going to grab it?
Love EGO brand it's awesome but this blower would be a lovely addition.
We love it!
I’m starting to like ego products , like the video info of the blower it convinced me to get one
Thanks Augurio for the kind words! What sold you on giving it a shot?
Great Video! Would love to add this blower to my EGO tools family and compare it to the 530 CFM blower to see how much powerful it is!
Thanks! Fingers crossed!
I could use this for my moms yard. I cant stand long because of medical issues so this would help me alot.
Thanks, Paul!
I am happy with my EGO 21” mower, so much so I bought an extra battery.
I recognize the battery is the tech, so I am not out off by the battery prices. I have owned gas equipment for so many years…nice to forget about the motor maintenance…
Glad you like yours! More people need to hear that!
my husband looking for one. Thanks for the detailed video review!
Thanks Maria! We also put out a video comparing EGo vs Ryobi that might be inciteful as well! Check it out!
i just got the ego 580cfm didnt even realize they had a 650 and this 765 when i bought it... 580 is a huge step up from my m18 blower and with the turbo button pretty equal to gas
Isn't it crazy? Wonder what the next one will be.
I’m really am impressed with the 765cfm model. Thanks for the comparison.
Thanks for watching!
This is the best blower I've ever seen
Isn't it? Pretty wild...
Good stuff, I have the older model. It's still really pwerful... I think the biggest problem with the battery blowers is runtime.
Thanks Joshua! Yeah you’ve gotta use the turbo sparingly hahaha.
I have an older one and I need more power and longer performance on a charge. I like the versatility of this one.
Have you looked at getting a higher Amp battery?
Thanks for a fairly comprehensive review! Researching battery blowers and your video was very helpful. Would love to win the 765 CFM model!
Thanks Geoff! Is there anything else you would’ve liked to have seen that we didn’t cover?
Love EGO brand products........This may be my next purchase.
It's pretty dang slick.
Its powerful I'd consider it around 75% of what a blower needs to be for professional work.I use this for clearing snow off walkways and clearing 2x4 2x6 board chunks into piles at jobsites and gravel off parking lots.i still would like more power and would like to see them make a 1100 cfm blower.
Agreed, most of the people that watch our channel aren't in the professional space, so it does the trick for most
Interesting been using a old, corded Toro that well doesn't cut anymore. Now the carbon fiber string trimmer and mower. Those things are awesome
Got that right, Tony.
My old toro corded blower has served me well but man alive ….my new 765 ego at half speed is easily more powerful than the toro at full speed. Also ditching the cord alone feels like a huge upgrade.
I just got the 765 with two batteries on sale for less than $329. Very impressed with it.
Nice deal! It is a sweet blower
So far my favorite brand is Echo. Have their weed whacker and it’s been bulletproof. I also love my Toro time master. But my blower is lacking. I have a corded toro blower from the 90s lol.
Echo SRM 225 is a beast! TimeMaster is great too. I'd definitely check out one of these blowers, Dom
I had the exact same corded Toro, used it for 3 years but got sick of the cords. Saw this video during my research and bought it right after. So far so good. The pain of the price disappeared after blowing the front then the back of the house without pulling cords.
@@SC-pq5cj Cords are a huge pain! Always getting caught, pulling out, and restricting your movement. Congrats again on the upgrade!
Great video. I already own an EGO mower and was curious about the comparison between the 530, 650, and this one.
765 is wild...
im looking forward to getting my ego blower as soon as i save up the money
Thanks, Ed. They are pretty dang sweet!
I just purchased the ego 615 for $180 at Lowe's with charger and battery. I'm impressed with the power this thing puts out
Love that. They are very similar except for the turbo capabilities
Man, that thing has me drooling. UNLIMITED POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It slaps!!!
Totally awesome 👍🏾
It is a great blower!
Thank for the video I'm thanking about geting the ego blower to
It's great. Honestly the 650 CFM is also great. But if you want raw power, you can't beat the 765
I have a pack pack gas and I like this blower ,no gas or oil and it works
You get it, Marshall!
I'm new to the Ego line of products. And I have been checking out the 765 blower.. I am very impressed with the reviews and all of the videos that I have seen on it. It would be great to win one of these!!
Thanks Troy! Make sure you join our email list on the website. You’ll be entered twice!
Saw your video and went and bought it from Lowes immediately. It costs $469 plus taxes. Worth every penny.
Love it! Thanks we think so, too. And now you have the battery for any other EGO tools
Thanks for the comment SC! Did it come with one or two batteries?
@@TheLawnReview Unfortunately, only one.
Wow, where do you live to pay that much money for this blower at a Lowes? I bought mine 2 months ago and paid 329.00. At 469.00 I would have turned around and walked away. Is inflation that bad?
@@mr.wilson8340 Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. $469 Canadian. And yes, inflation is crazy but just thinking about all the snow I’m gonna blow off the driveway and my car makes it worth every penny.
Love the Ego blower.
Thanks! It is a great one.
Great show very informative
Glad you enjoyed it!!
That’s one impressive blower! My wife can only manage 600CFM, so I may have to consider trading her in for one of these.
hahahaah been there!
Came across this from the Ryobi vs EGO lawn mower video. Sold on the EGOsystem😂....get it lol
I can't believe they haven't branded that yet LOL
I just bought this for my brother. He lives in the People's Republic of Montgomery County, Maryland, and they are banning gas powered blowers. It looks like a great unit for smaller yards, but if you have a larger lot, you may want to purchase a 2nd battery and rotate them.
Because of the size of my property, I will continue using my gas powered Echo.
🤣🤣 agree about the batteries. They add up!
Had to give you a like and comment for the power rangers clip 😂 good work!
hhahaha thank you
I need this power in my life!
Heck yea! It’s an absolute TANK.
Nice video thank you review
Thanks for watching! Any requests?
I want to buy a blower, this video helped me make up my mind on what blower to go with
Glad it was helpful!
I like what I see it looks like they compatible with the gas handheld blower. I would like to purchase one for myself, but I don’t have the money to do that so I like it so much that maybe I’ll borrow some money from somebody to buy this hand held blower
It is worth the money!
Awsome videos!
Thanks for watching! Appreciate your comment.
I am blown away........😅
Lol!
Just bought its great
Nice Steve! How’s that turbo?
@@TheLawnReview I'm ready for the leaves this fall
Very thorough
Bret - thanks for watching and leaving a kind comment! We appreciate it.
I love my Ego lawnmower!
Love to hear it, Jeff. They have a great line. You could get this much cheaper with the tool-only version and use the same battery.
Can't wait to get one!
Wait til you press that turbo button for the first time...
I need this blower,I use a works blower and the 6 extension cords I use to get around my home is driving my electric bill up. I really need this blower badly. The works blower is getting my forearm sore, and I have gotten the cords around my ankle sometimes.
Thanks for the comment! Yeah you certainly do! This blower is an absolute animal.
I need a cordless leaf blower - I ripped out the grass in my front yard and put in mulch and plants... except for the big Lindon trees in the park strip that drop leaves all spring, summer, and fall!
Wow do you like jt
Would be cool to see if it would be beneficial to compound the fans internally to obtain a sort of supercharging effect to see if you can improve the blower. Obviously it's gonna use a bit more juice
Agreed. I think EGO will keep going higher and higher.
Love this
Thanks Ed!
Definitely earned a sub
Thank you! Hope you stick around
Definitely getting one of these!
Where did you end up getting it?
@The Lawn Review I ended up getting the Ego weedeater ST1623T instead this weekend at Ace Hardware. They had $30 off. The blower is next on my list.
@@bowtie2898 That's a good deal!
Hey great video...appreciate the details..!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for leaving in the “Nooo Monica”, gold!
hahahahah of course
Great job
Thanks, Ricky! We hope you stick around
Researching this model now
It’s awesome.
Got my 765 today. Absolute UNIT! I did landscaping in college and this feels every bit as powerful as the commercial grade gas blowers we used. This thing is replacing an old corded toro blower.
The things I love besides the power compared to gas or the toro is the incredibly quiet low speed mode and turbo mode can dry my car in a fraction the time the toro needs with just the blower’s snout and no tube attached so it’s a lot easier to maneuver. I needed an excuse to wash that thing lol
I wouldn’t be surprised if ego make a 1000cfm version of the backpack that you can load two batteries into. Curious how long this 765 can run in turbo mode with that monster 12ah battery. Not interested in paying $600 for it though 😳
Glad you love it! Actually a ton of people use these blowers for their cars exclusively. Didn't know that subculture existed.
But yes - the 12 amp battery is probably insane but also pretty unreasonable.
EGO and a few others have backpack blowers but they currently aren't a massive step up from any of the handheld.
@@TheLawnReview Yeah man the auto detailing community have been using high powered vaccums in reverse for a long time. Metrovac are probably the most popular brand and are made in the USA, built like a tank and most importantly, push a TON of air through an even more focused nozzle. They're pricey though and a lot to spend on something you can only really use for one purpose.
@@FastRedPonyCar That's pretty cool! Are you a car guy?
@@TheLawnReview Yep. I've had a few red mustangs but living that dad life now so no more coupes for a while. Had a scatpack charger which was amazing but drank gas like nobody's business. I ended up selling it for a crazy high price during covid (almost what I paid for it) and ended up leasing a Tesla Model 3. My lease is up next year and the car is awesome but I think they're too expensive now for what they are. They're all $10K more than what they were 2 years ago. Car market is stupid right now so I don't know what I'll be driving next year if things don't change after I hand the Tesla back over. We still got one of the old late 90's volvo sedans with the turbo 5 cyclinder I can always fall back on but that thing's got 200k miles on it and no AC :/
@@FastRedPonyCar Wow I bet that Tesla was sweet. I have a feeling the car market will get better, but fingers crossed!
My 765 weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces with the battery and it felt heavy. My gas Stihl weighs 10 pounds 9 ounces but didn't feel heavier. I think the weight distribution is better on the gas, it seems to be more centered under the handle. The 765 had plenty of power but the weight seemed to be toward the end of the blower. I am still on the fence about returning it due to the weight distribution. Maybe it's just me. Thanks for a good review, and your grass looks most awesome.
Thanks for the kind words! I hear you there, feel is everything. I think with this one you can also get a strap if you want to offset some of the weight.
My unit come with a shoulder strap, it helps to distribute some weight to make it more tolerable.
@@kocho5612 Agreed - especially if you're covering a large area.
We have an ego mower and really like it. Now for the leaf blower….
If you like the mower, you will LOVE the blower. Thanks for watching, Pamela!
Next on my list to buy :)
Nice Dewe! Well maybe you won’t have to!
great overview
Thank you!
Nice video!
Thanks for watching, David!!
I am so tired of changing batteries on lesser blowers. With my congestive heart failure it is all I can do just to walk up and down my slopes yard for new batteries every few minutes. This units power and battery life would be a dream come true.
It's pretty sweet! I hear you on the batteries dying. Until they get more efficient, you generally have to have a few.
The nozzle head( where the tube goes to seems to be made of a hard plastic that could be kinda brittle in the long run. Could break easily if dropped and seems kinda wobbly on my unit but other 5han that I'm happy with my unit
Yeah I recommend storing that nozzle tip away from extreme temperatures if possible. There are lots of replacement ones that aren't all that expensive, too.
I have the older brush motor one and have dropped it off the trailer, out of the back of the truck, left it in the sun for hours etc. Can't really tell I was bad on it...just a few minor scuffs. I have also left it in the rain...both the blower and battery survived fine, after pouring the water out of the battery, I did wait a few days before I charged the battery and charged it under my carport away from anything flammable...all good. If it can survive me it can survive anything. I also have a chainsaw and I hardly ever get out my stihl chainsaw anymore...the runtime on the chainsaw is great
