I used to work for a lighting company in the States that prepped Muse's lights. And I must say there is MONTHS of preparation that goes into a show. From countless drawings, meetings, meetings and more meetings..then the actual prepping of lights, setting it up in-house, testing it, programming it...then the hard part...getting it all to fit in a truck, and have it now go over weight (or simply over weight on a single axle). It's a ton of work, but really fun when you get your finished product
It is amazing to watch man come together and coordinate a massive feat such as this just because of the demand created by people wanting to see such an epic musical group perform live.
Can't believe how fast they could do this, it should be in the Guinness world records!! They're like sonic or something how did they even manage just 5 minutes
I remember seeing this stage in St. Louis and being right on the front fence thinking how awesome it would be to work on big projects like this one. Now its almost 10 years later, I'm doing that exact thing. This stage set up inspired me to do more and dream big. Muse stage set ups are always a spectacle and your always looking forward to see what new technical aspects there going to add.
REAAALLLLY makes you appreciate what the crew do. I mean they do the amount of construction work a crew would take to build a proper small building. Then pack it down. EVERY. DAY. Next time a band thanks the crew ima shout a lil louder then before now haha
That's awesome. So cool to see just after experiencing a concert. It's on my bucket list to someday be on of those people setting up the stage. Even if for just one night. What a great experience.
I wish to be lucky to do so! Even I'm studying a short career in live sound, this stage ensamble part is something totally different and can't believe the amount of work they put 😱 What an amazing job, sadly the pandemic will keep this away from us for a time.
It's like being at work and getting to see the satisfaction through a good song. Had no idea that muse was this good, definitely overlooked this band for too long. But for real I appreciate the fact that you guys showed people what goes into setting up for one show. I do this as a living and it's super satisfying to see this video.
I travelled from Newcastle for that concert, and it was more than worth it! Was absolutely amazing, even the stage blew me away. It's cool to see how it was constructed, often wondered how the crew managed such a monster!
i was listening to supremacy official video, i was at the first 55 seconds when i clicked this, the fact that this video has supremacy as background music is life telling me i need to listen to this more often
I was very fortunate to see this show in Cincinnati. Maybe the best show I've ever seen. Felt like I was in the future. NiN is the only other band on the planet that can compete with a show on this scale.
That's one of the things I like about muse. They have these really intricate stage designs, yet they still pull off sounding good live. Which many bands can't do. Rock on!
if you have seen them live in this tour, I bet you understand how much FEELS i've just got. they could've put like 3 seconds of the real show in the end and I would've choked to death . still. you can't deny - they're amazing
You what guys, people go to these kind of events and they have a great time! But little did they know how these individuals sweat themselves to make the event a success from lightings, stages, safety measures, etc! Cheers!
Wow, very impressive! Never thought of the work and amount of people involved for the setting of such a stage! It was funny to see how it got shoved back and forth.
Hello, for the trucks : i was at Nantes last october with a friend , we saw more than 20 Stage Trucks and 3 bus !!! When i was young, i played Lego, but this, it's a XXXXXXL box for a great toy :)
i talked to reggie the soudcheck guy for deadsara america tour, and he told me lots of things about muse and how awesome they are and where dom lives!! but he told me it usually takes around 7 hours to set this up.
Amazing production for this tour. Wish they recorded this one instead of the Unsustainable Tour. 2nd Law had much better lighting and setup in my opinion. I want to go back in time to see this again.
because there are so many different departments working on the same build (Light, staging, audio, arena infrastructure), it takes a lot of communication to get it done right - and every arena is different
Awesome. I've been in small stage shows that took hours to set up and wasn't as big as this. And we had to set up ourselves. Even though some of us where the "stars" It's so this was awesomely exciting to watch. Loved that life.... But now it's family and other things to do.... Life. ;)

Who is coordinate that work
men and women smh
cOntRoLlA pLaYeR I think by man they mean the whole species, which is why they said “man” and not “men”
@@Fuhzen Yeah, they're referred to as man (as in mankind)
I saw this show last night in Sydney and I have never had such an enjoyable experience in my entire life! I wish I could go back again!
Can't believe how fast they could do this, it should be in the Guinness world records!! They're like sonic or something how did they even manage just 5 minutes
.
I hope this is a joke
+Ashton Lewis woosh
+Ashton D. Lewis Man, it's clearly a joke.
Pixel Seal if only that were true

Possibly one of the most interesting and exciting job I've had is being part of event construction like this.
How long does it take?
YeahWhatever A load in can average about 8 hrs to set up with a crew of 200ish people, while the load out is half the time or less.
Krystal Stone Sweet!
+Krystal Stone how did you get your job? I want to do something like that but I don't know where to apply or something along the lines of that.
Abraham Rodriuez 1. study or went to germany to learn the Job in 3 years
2. get hired as hand and work your way up
love how the stadium is still set out like a hockey arena, the storm never really died!
That's awesome. So cool to see just after experiencing a concert. It's on my bucket list to someday be on of those people setting up the stage. Even if for just one night. What a great experience.

The stage was amazing watching it live. Such great work. Mesmerizing! Awesome getting to see all the work that was put into it!
God I really miss going to Muse concerts. The 2nd Law was fucking GREAT
That's one hella technical stage set-up!
Great time-lapse subject. Mighty impressed, lat'r Buzz
Bravo à toutes les personnes qui composent les équipes techniques des spectacles de MUSE. Sans elles, ce ne serait pas pareil.
Best concert I've ever been to. Went twice wish I could have been to more. Thank you muse for giving your fans a great show.
BEST concert I've ever seen in my LIFE.

this takes 'several hours'?! Someone give those guys a raise, that's fucking awesome, putting up a stage like that in a few hours!
I just love the end, when people arrive in the arena. It looks amazing !
Awesome... and such a great show at Staples! So glad we went!
I was very fortunate to see this show in Cincinnati. Maybe the best show I've ever seen. Felt like I was in the future. NiN is the only other band on the planet that can compete with a show on this scale.

Oh God!! That its amazing! Cant describe how talented is Muse, really.
God Damn ! ... THIS IS MUSE
if you have seen them live in this tour, I bet you understand how much FEELS i've just got.
they could've put like 3 seconds of the real show in the end and I would've choked to death . still. you can't deny - they're amazing

I feel proud to be 4th row to that show at target center, it was amazing, the opening act, dead Sarah was good also.

Best live band in the entire world. Best band in the entire world. Can't get enough!
I'm excited too! Would be great if the tickets came any time soon
Muse has amazing visual effects in their live shows! :) Props to the guys building it and working on them.
The same thing will be done in the Amsterdam Arena in June, can't wait to be there!
Very interesting seeing how it all works and they pulled it off well as I was at that concert, well done to the crew!
The 2nd law is truly awesome
You what guys, people go to these kind of events and they have a great time! But little did they know how these individuals sweat themselves to make the event a success from lightings, stages, safety measures, etc! Cheers!
this was so hypnotizing omg
Wow, very impressive! Never thought of the work and amount of people involved for the setting of such a stage! It was funny to see how it got shoved back and forth.
Oh man. Watching this video gave me some good memories when I was a stage hand.
loved being a stage hand allwys asked when doing load ins or load outs any crew shirts
a world where the preparing stage looks more fascinating and much better than a video which the stage prepared for
INCREDIBLE.
Thanks for putting it up on RUclips so its less laggy on phones :)
I am so excited for tomorrow!
Sick how much effort is put in for such an event!
miss this so much
Hello, for the trucks : i was at Nantes last october with a friend , we saw more than 20 Stage Trucks and 3 bus !!! When i was young, i played Lego, but this, it's a XXXXXXL box for a great toy :)

Fascinating. I'd love to see a breakdown of the economics that make this possible.
Their whole touring rig probably costs like 10 million $

Amazing production for this tour. Wish they recorded this one instead of the Unsustainable Tour. 2nd Law had much better lighting and setup in my opinion. I want to go back in time to see this again.
Went to the show in Seattle, best way to end a Friday.
Great looking stage.
Great teamwork
because there are so many different departments working on the same build (Light, staging, audio, arena infrastructure), it takes a lot of communication to get it done right - and every arena is different
