Hey I'm from EC too. I have a lot of questions for you. How long did it take to deliver? Is it Amazon-pat ICICI tag? Where did you order it from? I was under the assumption that you cannot have two fastags for a same registration humber simultaneously - meanining you would first surrender your existing tag. Doesn't seem to be your case, did you have to activate your new tag?
Fastags can be ordered from the banks website and apps . I ordered mine from the ICICI website. This is a ICICI Fastag. You can order an ICICI Fastag from other places like for example from PhonePe I ordered mine on 31JAN (I cancelled the PayTm one on 31JAN as well) The Fastag was activated on 02FEB. Activation happened automatically and I didn't have to show any proof of cancelling the old Fastag. I got it delivered on 04FEB At any point in time only one Fastag will be active. The latest Fastag that is activated and linked to a vehicle is the only active one. You can check which one is the active Fastag on the MyFastag app. In my case, starting 02FEB, the ICICI Fastag shows as the active one The balance in the old Fastag can be transferred to your bank account. The deposit amount will come to your bank account once the old Fastag is closed
@@TheMuser I had closed my Paytm fastag. But the Status shows closure initiated. But I had applied and recieved kvb fastag and it got activated also. But when I check in Netc website, new kvb fastag and previous paytm fastag both are active. Can i remove paytm fastag and stck the new kvb fastag??

PayTm keeps a reserve of 150 rupees On closure of Fastag the reserve amount goes to the main wallet. You can either use the money from the wallet or do a Transfer to Bank
Yes You can! Once the new one is activated, the old one should ideally become inactive automatically. Do check on the MyFastag app to see whihc is the active Fastag for your vehicle
As per the new process the last activated Fastag will be the only one active Older ones should get deactivated automatically Ideally, it should not matter. But again you never know
I had a ICICI bank account which already had KYC done You can buy a Fastag from a bank you already have an account with and you won't have to do KYC again

So how does the deduction happen at tolls if u haven't received the tag yet? I'm in the same situation

150 reserve + 250 security deposit. So total 400 rupees you will get back in your wallet.

i had sbi fastag ,i wanted to replace the card which is damaged how should i apply for it?
You would have an option on the SBI Fastag portal to replace it
what if we don't remove the deactivated Paytm fastag and paste the new fastag below it. Will it be a problem? any idea?
