Tonight more than 122,000 Australians are estimated to be experiencing homelessness that's one of the highest rates among OECD countries.
A recent report by Anglicare shows it's never been harder to find affordable rental accommodation in Australia if you're on a low income.
And new modelling from the National Housing Supply and Affordability Council projects that ambitious government targets for new homes won't be met.
Support groups are calling for more funding in the upcoming Federal Budget.
