@@drewsnyder7075 mine is 2560x1600 touch. Kind of a sweet spot. Very crisp while extending your battery. Have the top Dell active pen, but barely use it 😆
There is a new dell precision 3480. You can spec it pretty well. Im kindbof considering it. The 5470 needs a dongle and everything soldered. Also look at the inspiron 14 plus.
I just took a look at the 3480, yeah it does look like you can make it a pretty beefy machine. BUT, if the build quality is anything like the 3470, I'd have to pass. While I agree that it sucks only having usb-c like the 5470, the build quality is superb. Also, I connect it to a dock, so I get all of those ports back. The Inspiron 14 Plus looks ok too, but why does it still have that barrel charger? lol. Maybe it can be charged through that usb-c port. I'd also be concerned about the color accuracy/quality of the display.
Damn, this is exactly my thought process...XPS 13 is too small...XPS 15 is too big...and there's no XPS 14. I got my Precision 5470 from BestBuy Canada Open Box for 1,299.
Great review, brother! I got one of these a couple of months back and totally love it.
I appreciate it!! Thank you!
What screen resolution do you have? Looking at getting one of these but torn between the two screen options.

@@ademenchuk yea that’s the resolution I’m leaning towards. Thanks for the input
Great review I’m considering buying one of these. Curious what resolution your unit is and what your thoughts are. Sorry if I missed it in the video.
I really like it. It has been my main computer for months. The resolution is 1920 x 1200. The i9 that is in mine is a bit overkill.

Ca you compare the screen of your 16x9 3470 and 16x10 5470?
Good question. If I could summarize my response, it would be
3470 Screen: Passable
5470 Screen: AMAZING!!
