Buy one of those toy wooden snakes that are malleable/middle sections that move.. ? Just a thought for the mini on the map thing.

Funnily enough the tyrannosaurus rex can't make an attack against the same target with both its bite and tail. So they thought about size and what creatures could do with their attacks for some creatures but not for others.

Optional Rule (Available to Size Huge or Larger)
    Smash recharge on 3+
Whenever the creature uses its Movement it may attempt to Smash the number of creatures within 10’ up to its Prof Bonus with its sheer mass.
The targeted creatures must make a DEX Save or take 10d6 for a Huge Creature or 20d6 for a Gargantuan Creature and be Knocked Prone.
If the targeted creature makes the save, it takes no damage, uses 20’ of movement and is not knocked prone.
The targeted creature may be targeted for an Opportunity Attack.

What if the creature doesn't have 20ft of movement?

    • @bobfrancis123

@@MonstersMulticlass It will count against them in the next round. Or you could cut the movement penalty. I put it in there to reflect getting the hell out of the way.

Here is my suggestion for how to handle crushing:
    Trample:
If a creature enters the space of a hostile creature that is at least two sizes smaller than itself, the smaller creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed saving throw, it takes bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. The damage is a number of d12s equal to the trampling creature's strength modifier.
On a successful save it is not knocked prone, and it may use its reaction to move up to its speed. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity from the trampling creature. If the smaller creature end its movement outside the space of the trampling creature, it takes no damage. If it does not leave the space of the trampling creature, it takes half as much damage as on a failed saving throw. A creature can only be forced to make this saving throw by the same creature once per turn.

Speaking of awkward movement: Have you ever seen an earthworm move? It actually pulls its tail up to itself, then scoots its head forward. So make sure the tail goes first in initiative and you're good with Jared's string idea.

Underrated channel, time to go through the backlog

I think I could run a purple worm fight pretty well by taking advantage of its burrowing rate. No reason to have it attack head on when it can burrow through the ground and come out literally anywhere. That also gives you a way to bring the tail attacks into the fight if the fight is underground in its tunnels.

Here it is! The name was a play off some in campaign stuff and Liberty Prime from Fallout 3. But the idea was each player controlled 1 limb. The head determined movement. Everyone got their own initiative though
