- Dragoncon is a 5 day convention in Atlanta Georgia over Labor Day weekend. Many people dream about attending this convention, many more have attended and found that it’s just not for them. For those of us that return every year, Dragoncon is an extension of home. Hot take, wednesday and thursday are the best nights of dragon, not a huge crowd but everyone in the crowd is so excited.
Actually, I couldn't agree more. I did love dancing on Friday and Saturday but I feel like that's more of a vibe and less of the "craziness" that makes Dragoncon what it is

I have seen several RUclipsrs mention going to Dragoncon. I had no idea what it involved until your video.
interesting that this came up on my feed, i've never searched for anything related to dragoncon, but just last year found out that I know one of the admin staff that helps run the event

I first went to Dragoncon in 2021 and didnt know what to expect and really enjoyed it. Ive been back every year since and already have my tickets for next year. Its a great experience and eveyone is so nice!

Oh absolutely! My voice is still a bit lower than normal but I think it'll be back to good in a day or two. Dragoncon was so much fun though!
I am dying at the cult of John sacraments and the people dressed as nuns in line for them! This looks like so much fun! I hope that one day my health will allow me to attend.
It was HILARIOUS! When our friends told us people were doing this we RAN to see it 🤣
@@CaseyReneeCosplay I love it when large groups of people join forces to do silly stuff. Like the famous video of the crowd at a baseball game going crazy when a little girl successfully flipped a water bottle -- that stuff just makes my day.
This is how I feel about Anime North, It not as big as most of the for-profit cons but I always wish it ran 4 days instead of 3 because there soo much I miss out on trying to get to the things. Where as I got to FanExpo Canada and other LARGE cons I usually spend the first day not at that con and spending most of the weekend not attending as much of the stuff running and just walking around.
Last year was so fun, I wish I could have made it this year 😭

Is dragoncon a con for extroverts? My introvert self is curious, but scared of the crowds and quantity of activity.
Well as for quantity, you basically get to pick and choose what you want to do. I personally consider myself an introvert who can be extroverted in certain situations and so I typically leave time in my day to be alone, I also don't see friends or people for at least a week after Dragoncon, sometimes I don't see people a week before either so I can build up my social battery
Where is there a Mellow Mushroom downtown?!
Lol so I only know how to get to it by walking there from the Hyatt in the Dargoncon Area but I bet if you just searched in Google Maps Mellow Mushroom downtown Atlanta it would pop up
