I went back and re-read the manual for my Sledgehammer Custom 100 (Korg) today, which I bought 3 years ago. I stopped using it since it didn’t match the 440 on my Peterson Strobe Tuner or my Korg, large rectangular Strobe Pitchblack Tuner. I was going to toss the Korg clip-on Sledgehammer. Good thing I didn’t-by reading the manual, I realized that I had fiddled with the right ‘shuttle switch’ (goes from 0-9) and I was getting anything BUT 440. It wasn’t Korg error it was my error, LOL. I love it NOW, glad I didn’t toss it. Thanks for your video as well. I noticed on the paper Korg menu it states, “After reading this menu please keep it later for future reference.” So, true.
Coolest tuner ever. It took me like *less than 10 seconds* to replace the battery too? I don't understand why people say things about rattling and all that jazz...mine doesn't rattle AT ALL anyway. The tuner sits between the horns of my BC Rich Beast and looks like a lightning modulator. MANDALORIAAAAN BABYYYY
great tuner except, completely unsuitable for outside. The lighting of the dial is not bright enough, so you can't see a thing. Even in cloudy ambient light levels . So its hopeless for busking
Don´t buy this tuner! the buttons rattle a lot. I have a classical guitar and the buttons rattle all the time. You have to take it of the guitar after tuning.

It is The Way.
So which one is best and why? The adjusting knobs look feeble?
Is it chromatic?
how accurate is the korg sledgehammer ?
Specs claim to be 0.1 cents, which is great.

Could these be used on the ukulele? Would I put it on guitar or bass mode? What about low g? Thanks
put it on guitar.. and remember the uke notes GCEA and you're set. (the low or high G will just show as G)
Does it work on 12 string acoustics?
yes
mine rly does not fucking shiow any notes as if it had a broken mic or something...
ok i can't even install the battery
Reviewer failed to explain the numerical codes on the right hand dial - nor is this explained in the manual. Dim display - Waste of money.
Iike that these tuners accept normal AAA batteries.

That’s the built-in Maracas feature. 🤪
Don't buy sledgehammer pro you will regret it. It is confusing and not practical
try and get the battery compartment open... It's a massive pain!
To each their own, i think is great.
whats confusing?
The 3 tuning options maybe but just chosenthe 1st one
