Off subject but take a look at the new EG4 brightmount CAT1. I need to get more of the original brightmount but show out of stock and was told it maybe discontinued . Would like to get your opinion if it’s a good replacement.
It looks similar to me but I have not used any yet. It will probably work fine but not sure about a direct replacement or addition to match your other mounts.
I think it is going to perform similar to an 5KWH EG4 V2 , cannot scale as big(stacking) and does not have a built in breaker. But I think I read their BMS is extremely reliable. I have been watching this one and Homegrid stacked, but the price is not very competitive, though I think their reliability is crazy good and could be worth it. Time will tell as always.
I have been running the X5s for a while now, I have 16 of them inside four of the cabinets.. these have been rock solid
Nice. They look pretty slick to me
I like your presentations but I think a lot of these products are too pricey for many DIYers.
Yes for some. Everything is definitely not for everyone. We all have budgets lol
Sounds good 👍🏾
Thanks
Doesn't make a whole lot of sense at 5kwh for 1600 plus 1300 for the case? The EG4 15.3.kw is out door rated for what 3500?
Indeed. Just another option and case is not required just an option. They have the stacking brackets for indoors as well

I wonder if the EG4 batteries would fit in there
I will look at the specs

More options for DIY is always better. The prices will hopefully become more competitive to the EG4
Q would it be cheaper to get two outside batteries 2:80 AM
Possibly would need to looking at all the prices again. Just more options so always good for us consumers
Rodney, if you need something like that, fine, but where were these things when I had money to spend. lol
Lol. Would definitely like to have batteries outside so my buildings would have more space
For that price it doesn't even have active balancing.
I will look back at specs but that is crazy
Too expensive!
For some this is true indeed. But another option for others
