Can I beat a BLIND Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in POkemon Emerald Seaglass?
Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

I do have to echo what everyone else has said- this art really is beautiful! I love the QOL of adding the Linking Cable item as well. That thing should be in absolutely every Pokemon game.
Its quite ironic how Icarus was always so close to dying and pivots out before being killed. Almost the exact opposite of the character it is portraying.
21:38 everyone keeps saying Groudon is outmatched because he's standing in water but the anime shows he can fight in water perfectly fine. Even almost beat Kyogre too until Kyogre remembered "oh yeah, I can breathe underwater" and dragged Groudon down

As someone who's run through Emerald Seaglass SEVERAL times, the best answer for Brawly's heracross is a technician spearow from route 103. Its somewhat common, maybe holding a sharp beak, and it evolves and learns aerial ace (which is 90bp with technician) by the level cap of 20 for Brawly.

I did a dragon only run of seaglass and it was the most fun I’ve had playing a Pokémon game in years! Such a massive project and cudos to the creators

@@modelomegatyler merry Christmas and sorry for the late reply lol. It was great. Sceptics is a dragon now and yanmega is too. It was an easy mode run because of the multitude of dual types for dragons in the game but I really enjoyed it

20:48 dodrio is actually a ground type in this rom hack, very fitting
Why did it resist the X-Scissor though? Ground doesn't resist bug. Plus, it didn't resist the Rock Slide. Unless it was one of the changes made in the hack, then it doesn't make sense.
It has to be a flying-ground type.

Funny how Thunderous Kick is usually a fighting type move
The names of the moves are linked to the original typings of the legendary birds, Zapdos has ‘Thunderous’ Kick because Zapdos is an electric type, Moltres has ‘Fiery’ Wrath, and Articuno has ‘Freezing’ Glare. Neat detail.

Think explosion on electrode might have been a misplay. Guts boosted quick attack surely kills from there so you might as well have risked the most powerful electric move hoping to kill on a crit or something since you would have got swellow in for free anyway.

You should do a run where you name your Guts Pokemon "Mithrodaites"since he was the paranoid king of Pontus who deliberately drank poisons in small amounts to gain immunity to them. It worked, and when rome came to take his kingdom, he tried to end himself with poison, and failed.

i recently finished this hack with Water Types only. it's honestly a really good hack. For the next run there is a stall near Norman's Gym that sells items like Ability Pills so it has a lot of replayability for Nuzlockers... i might actually do a Nuzlocke of this soon

all depends on the person. for me it does no matter what, although some people will only allow it to supersede if the dupe that it replaces hasn’t died yet. flygon hg has caught a shiny and replaced it with the alice member (i forget which vid) but if the replacement is dead he won’t use it

16:40 Why not just go for Shock Wave? If it kills the Sceptile you save the little Ball, and if doesn't and Sceptile win you can just quick attack back with Jolteon. Just give the little ball the chance to live :3
