- Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire using only Fighting types?
Nuzlocke rules:
-Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
-Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
-All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
-Always Set mode
-No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
-No overleveling the next gym leader

I just want to put in my two cents. As a viewer, I am fine with you employing any means necessary, including cheating methods, to evolve trade Pokémon and other 'impossible' evolution methods. Next time, just evolve that Machoke!

Run suggestion: Something I've been playing around with in Ultra Moon is what I've been calling a teamlocke. You can stick to your normal nuzlocke rules if you want, but I've been catching whatever Pokemon I want, though not using dupes. However the sticking point is once you've filled up your team, you can't switch it around from your PC. You can rearrange the order of your current team to suit the situation, but your current team is locked in. Only once a Pokemon dies, can you replace it, but only with the first Pokemon in your box.

Hey AntlerBoy, here's a tip for future ORAS runs: after the Groudon/Kyogre battle, go speak to Professor Birch. He'll give you the National Dex-- which opens up a ton of new possible encounters. In this instance, you could've had the following Pokemon in this run: Timburr (Granite Cave), Throh/Sawk (Route 112), Tyrogue (Fiery Path), Mankey (Jagged Pass), and Scraggy (Route 113). Just wanted to share this knowledge with you
Started with just a torchic and ended with just a blaziken. Poetic
blaziken has to be my favourite, i was so happy when it got the recognition it deserved (gaining speed boost and being uber in 3 gens straight)

@@TheOwneroftheICit is already fast. It lacks damage output. Giving it sharpness will be good, as it is only hoenn starter which is not viable as other 2 starters.
Here’s a tip: Use Poisoned Poison heal Breloom + Big Root + Leech Seed. If you’re feeling cheesy, that is.

Tyrogue, Mankey, Timburr, throh, sawk would have been options after you caught Groudon, just a PSA
Maxie planning on awakening groudon to improve his sun cream sales was brilliant. Did no one tell him about global warming though? Seems like a much easier way to raise his profit margains then the plan he came up with.

I guess he didn't want to use the other Gen's Pokémon available after defeating the Legendary. Because there were Timburr, Tyrogue, Mankey and Scraggy available (if he caught Machop on Route 112).
20:36 he has base 70 special attack and heracross has good special bulk you were no where close to dying even with a crit

i felt this. i was feeling rather "fun challengey" kinda run a couple days ago so i started a run in pokemon X. only horde encounters with their hidden ability, some of the pokemon are nice. while others are like... vannilish: weak armor. durrant: truant. roggenrola: weak cubchoo: rattled. geodude: sand veil. foongus: regenerator. like, i always thought the hidden ability should be better than the normal ability(s), not situational at best or straight up garbage
At least you don’t have to fight lance the flying type master😂
To anybody doing this challenge you gain far more encounter treees after you beat Groudon/Kyogre via the DexNav
These additional pokemon are: Throu/Sawk on Route 112, Scraggy on Route 113, Timburr in Granite Cave, Tyrouge on Firey Path, and Mankey on Jagged Pass

Neato, I was hoping for some more Hoenn love in your videos. The region is criminally underrepresented. And while this isn't sapphire (you seem to have a clear preference for ruby), fighting has some of my all time favorites, so this is an awesome day, as far as I am concerned.
I recently played through pokemon violet with an Infernape with the iron fists ability, it’s so versatile!
But for someone who started pokemon playing in Gen 3; I want to say blaziken because he’s so cool looking. And younger me always loved Gallade and the gardevior line in general. I remember being so bummed just couldn’t get a gallade in sapphire.
I just did a Fighting type run in this game recently, and it was one of my favorite Pokemon experiences.
Infernape is my favourite starter because it is so cool and the first Pokemon game I got for my birthday is Diamond and I picked lnfernape and it is my favourite fire starter in my opinion.

U coulda sent out blaziken on the giga impact recharge and flare blitzed metagross to keep heracross at the end, I feel u wanted it to be more dramatic though 😂

@@thesnowyzorua378 flare blitz on the first recharge then speedboost to definitely outspeed and a 2nd flare blitz, blaziken remains untouched.

Fighting is one of my favorite types and I'm currently monolocking Unbound with them. I've never seen an Unbound Nuzlocke from a big creator, so I really wanna do some and post them!

Would like to see you attempt a monotype nuzlocke that you haven't done before blind. No calcs no looking up anything. I am sure you have pretty much memorized most of the games anyway by now.

you should try making a nuzlock with only one type, but not of pokemon, but move. like a hardcore nuzlocke where you can only use fire type moves.
You should try doing a trades only run if its possible. Basically only use mons via trades from npcs

A generation lock would be interested - only using Unova Pokémon in Kalos for example.
You should do this one with all the dark types from all the generations
I just had the best Pokémon dream movie where Kirby (idk how) goes through a computer and meet humans and a dog, also finding Pokémon, forgot half of the parts next. But then they go on a adventure. Then a Pokémon (replaces kirby) asks when they were leaving the computer app thingy. Then a Pokémon says that they just got a patty (SpongeBob reference) and then the main Pokémon (the one that asked) erases the leaf that they’re on. Then they turn into SpongeBob characters and plankton somehow gets stuck then in the end the Pokémon leave and then go to some dark place. Then they do some ritual to get out. 4 Pokémon were able to get out including the main Pokémon. But the rest…got sucked into a whirl pool by that one creature from animal jam. Then I woke up.

My fave fighting type has to be Breloom. It has gotten me through many Hoenn runs, both in the originals and remakes.
There are dexnav exclusive pokemon you can catch after defeating kyogre/groudon which you could've used to fill out the last spot in your team
Gallade :) - Platinum Poison type or Black 2 Grass type only on challenge mode

Unpopular opinion: evolve the Machoke. Machamp and other trade evolution pokemon don’t get enough love in these runs
Trust me dude, we dont care if youve cheated or not to evolve or Level up some pokemon. Your content is great either way, you really should have used machamp

Maybe it was an editing error as I had to rewind to hear it again 😂 but the petaya berry increases the holders special attack 😅 the payapa berry halves psychic moves.
A run suggestion would be a nuzelock using only the partner pokemon from pokemon rangers shadows of alamia

Ok, I have to ask, did you forget that you could get the new dexnav pokemon like Tyrouge after beating Groudon, or did you ban them to make this more challenging using only the regional dex mons.
