My first core stone was up on a high ledge in glacial strata, late into a haz 5 point extraction. It was madness and this theme just made the chaos so much bette I expected the crawlers to take more of a beating, but maybe thats just the thermal-shock build speaking
mine wasnt as impressive but I still remember it. Random clearing in sandblasted corridors, on haz 4. (i didnt notice they switched it to haz 4) Scout isnt the best at fighting em but the grappling hook kept me alive long enough for me to be somewhat useful. Fun fight 10/10
I wonder if the core-related stuff is what took Karl down? Went too deep and found something he shouldn't have? I just imagine at around 1:30 Karl is fighting these previously unknown core spawn crawlers, then as the music winds down and the beat drops... "Great mother of stone..." Karl utters, staring down what is effectively the core stone equivalent of a dreadnought
