My personal relatability list : Been the last man standing in the team? Check. Been grabbed by a Mactera Grabber whilst tunnelvisioned on something else? Check. Gotten downed by slow reflexes/bad decision? Check. Was last man to go down in a bad situation? Check! It all checks out in relatability for me.
I had a similar run, 48 minutes on a single aquarq mission, we were just messing around not treating it seriously due to the great rng, all the aquarq spawned nearby, except there was only one or two nitra veins... After a few swarms (because they JUST KEPT COMING) we were completely out of ammo and it became this mad dash around the map, rapidly trying to revive eachother with the swarm and elites chasing after us. I swear we had a single one left but as always the fall damage got to us out of everything and the last dwarf perished.
Thing about aquarq missions is that they get harder over time, so staying for more than 20-30 mins means that if you dont have all the aquarqs by that point you just lose most of the time.

This is possibly the best deep rock galactic video I've ever seen.
agreed
i love this video, it got me into DRG and shows everything i love about the game, and now here i am with almost 300h, almost got all the overclock for driller (yes i main driller) and gunner being my second favorite class
update : I FINALLy GOT EVERY DRILLER OC WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I could care less that you died in the end; that was the single most impressive show of adrenaline and determination I’ve ever seen. Consolation prize for you: Community Respect.
one time my brother went to go to the bathroom and got shot down by an enemy while i ran around with little to no ammo and dozens of enemies (it was a swarmer infestation) after me. eventually he came back and i revived him before i started to run around again without ammo. surprisingly, we got out alive!
My personal relatability list :
Been the last man standing in the team? Check.
Been grabbed by a Mactera Grabber whilst tunnelvisioned on something else? Check.
Gotten downed by slow reflexes/bad decision? Check.
Was last man to go down in a bad situation? Check!
It all checks out in relatability for me.
this is the video tha has gotten me into this magnificant game , ive been playing it for the past year and i wanna thank u man
Point extraction is just pure suffering.
I swear we had a single one left but as always the fall damage got to us out of everything and the last dwarf perished.
tragic
Thing about aquarq missions is that they get harder over time, so staying for more than 20-30 mins means that if you dont have all the aquarqs by that point you just lose most of the time.
Love how the best class to clutch is gunner, scout, engineer, driller and grabber.
what not having a plan looks like: grabber drops you right next to your teammates and you just zip back down
As a Scout, my experience is depressingly the same.
Except you're able to run perfectly fine, just not able to do any meaningful DPS. The swarm only gets bigger and the cave stays the same size ):
Cryo nades, boomstick with penetration.
There's your dps
@@diogoc1541 cryo nades are great but Zhukov CRYO MINELETS give me the wave control that scout typically lacks, and on a much more sustained level than just 4 grenades can provide
@@foxpurrincess3209 gas recycling with blow thru is also very good against swarms. Or just use crossbow with fire and pheromone bolts lol
@@foxpurrincess3209 Yeah and the pheromone canister is super busted, can demolish entire swarms of enemies. Pair that with penetration incendiary shotgun and you’ve got yourself some pretty good waveclear utility for those solo moments, as well as a primary to take out high value targets.
this is the first drg video i ever saw.
a year later, i have over 200 hours.
rock and stone, brothers
This is the most stressful thing that can happen to you in DRG.
I unironically love these kinds of moments and end up in them way to often. Just yesterday I got dropped into a mission where the last standing dwarf fell just as I joined and I saved the run like a champ against a massive swarm.
It's okay lads, you tried your best. Remember If you Rock n' Stone, you're never alone!
this is what got me into DRG and i couldn’t be happier
I often use extraction as survival mode for practice. This happened to me yesterday and instinct kicked in lol
YOU WILL BE HONORED, FELLOW DWARF!!! ROCK AND STONE FOREVER!!!
Haven't played 1.18 yet but this play through of the cave update looks incredible
Did you play it now?
@@SomebodyThatExistsYT wtf ahahahahh
Grenades, fire, and gravity. Man aint that a combo of the ages on how things go south. Amazing run though, crazy that the grabber decided the turret looked friendly
This was the first thing i saw about deep rock galactic. Now is my favorite game.
For some reason this reminds me of Christmas with the relatives.
YOU are the reason why I bought this game...
I love you, thank you so much.
rock and stone, brother
Not gonna lie, this was my first introduction to DRG long ago, and it absolutely sold me. I've been a proud dwarf since.
Rock and Stone, you beautiful dwarf
Tip to all engi mains: cover up the death pits, if only temporarily.
Always do, there are always more lol
"Location:HELL"
0:59 I love how you perfectly synced the music to when you get grabbed.
Never seen this game in my life but just from watching it I can confidently say I NEED THIS SHIT IN MY LIFE INMEDIATLY
Did you get it?
@@ExceedProduction No :( I don't have money for a decent PC (or even a laptop)
@@doggo7514 that sucks. hope you can get it eventually. it is out on xbox and playstation if you have one of those.
@@tysoncook5152 its also on gamepass for Xbox, best game investment ive ever did
@@AhmedEx1. nice! i don't have gamepass, but it is nice for those who do!
I'm pretty sure every roughneck can feel his pain, but it was a mighty fine effort! Rock and stone brothers!
I don't know what exactly this genre of video is, but I want to watch them all day long
This is, perhaps, the most painful thing Ive ever seen. My condolences
One of my favorite videos to rewatch every once in a blue moon
It is for this reason my scout loadout includes the following: Max Cryo SMGs and Nades, AOE focused Drak (Alternating between overheat go boom and bouncing bullets baligerantly), Max damage pickaxe, max recharge speed grapple, Iron will, Rez speed, born ready, elemental protection (to avoid freezing myself while still reducing most team damage, sometimes if I am running solo with randoms who might not be running reduced friendly fire on driller or gunner I swap it out to be safe), and Vampire because it will never not be a 10/10 choice.
Iron Will looks like it'd run good with Vampire considering any healing will keep you up.
@@RaxusXeronos Vampire is one of, if not the best passive in the game. Consistent healing every time bugs get all up in your grill, and synergy with a lot of weapons, tools, and other perks.
Cyro weapons
Drills
Hand axes
See you in hell for its boosted melee damage buff
Lotsa stuff.
I never saw the charm of vampire
@@RaxusXeronos I've used sweet tooth instead of vampire for a while. But this comment, this realization. Vampire is so much better, isn't it.
imo thorns synergizes well with vampire since they work at melee range, giving more chances to proc vampire with normal pickaxe swings.
That feeling at the end... this frustration after so much work... relatable. Rock and Stone!
Gravity is still the biggest killer of dwarves on Hoxes IV.
When you got grabbed my palms started sweating for you untill you steered it into the turrets.
Time to reinstall one of my top 10 multiiplayer games all over again.
In games i usually excel in cases of stress, but i can still relate to this ending.
This video was released 3 years ago
and this must be the 78th time I've seen this
I think since it was released, I've seen this
"Yeah, i don't think i can make it alone. Imma invite my friends to help me"
What happen afterward:
*Soloing with 3 more burdens screamming my name nonstop*
This has to be the most beautiful RUclips short i've ever seen, it uses a catchy song, that fits the video PERFECTLY, with amazing visuals and gameplay. I hope to see more videos with THIS level of high quality coming from you in the future, keep living ypur best life, and i hope you're proud of your creation, because i certainly am.
Sincerely
Kronos "last name not important" Titanus... of the... Greek Pantheon... YOU KNOW WHO I AM.
I have no idea how I missed your comment, thank you!
This video alone intruduced me to the game. I'm still having blast playing it. Thank you for uploading this masterpiece. Without it, I wouldn't have known that this game existed and would have missed on so much fun. Cheers to you. Rock and Stone!
"It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon for 12 seconds."
Perfect music choise
And yeah, ending is the reason why im always asking my engineer to close holes like this one.
"resupply arrived, go restock!"
This is why the one instant revive, or stand back up is worth it's weight in gold.
I have a specific deep dive builds with these perks pre set for this reason.
A glorious last stand. If only we all were filled with such spite to continue on.
This is my first introduction to deep rock gaming and yet I could hear the internal screaming
Greenbeard here, hope that one day I'll be able to do deep dives too. Meanwhile I'm just enjoying the game with my friends and learning mechanics.
Nice video, rock and stone! ⛏

Fall damage is the leading cause of death in Deep Rock Galactic, and this video is proof.
If only he had Tunnel Rat. He could’ve survived that fall.
