    Great performance.I'm new in the guitar.I have a question
    0:06-1:26 What is the effects?What are you use equipment?What is the John Frusciante use equipment for this effect on the Slane Castle live?

    • @TheoG2410
      @TheoG2410  8 лет назад +3

      This is more a technique than an effect. I think it's called "violoning".

      To add: Also known as 'volume swelling'. Can be achieved by rolling from on/off with the volume knob or with volume pedal :)

    How do you achieve "violoning"?

    • @Grogritark
      @Grogritark 8 лет назад +4

      Turn your volume knob down to zero. Simply pick the note you want, and then turn the volume back up for the duration of the note you want. This removes the initial note and only plays the ring :)

      @xNamsu 7 лет назад +2

      Just so you know for future reference, they're called volume swells.
