    I hope you start your reviews on leather wallets again. You're good at it. And I love to see the patina in your old wallets. It's boosting your us viewers to experience what you have with your leather.

    Just came across your review. I’d say you left out the largest benefit of the Franklin. It’s a cash wrap (cash carrying) wallet. It fits the width of a dollar bill perfectly. I’ve tried many wallets such as the open sea topsider and Houbei. Those have unnecessary width with the stitching. The Finnegan wallet is an amazing card wallet and the Franklin is an awesome cash (and cards) wallet. Just my 2 cents

      Hi thanks for comment. I dont disagree with you. I'm just not a cash guy and I try to make it clear so I may be biased. I got franklin because it was very well priced and I def like it. I enjoy all the wallets, the only wallet I hated was the Cash Finn and it was 100% my fault for not understanding fully what it was.

    Yes but the whole idea is you have a wallet that’s got no glue no stitches and I think that’s fantastic. I know what you’re saying about thickness but I would love to have a wallet with no stitches and no glue. I think that this wallet is absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to get it From USA I am in Australia and I just purchased one. I do have a Finnigan again but after all I’m getting this wallet because no glue no stitches very simple but very effective. 🇦🇺👍

    Enjoyed watching this again. The Finnigan has become my EDC. It holds plenty of cards, and people are intrigued when I pull it out of my pocket. Only thing I don't like about the Finnigan is the sides of the cards are exposed near the top. But it really is a perfect wallet. I like the mini Franklin, too, and is similar in size to the Finnigan. But it doesn't hold as many cards as the Finnigan.

    Have you tried the JJ Leathercraft Lucias, Speakeasy Leather D'Avella, or Groove Supply Co. Rowan? I'm trying to decide between those three + one of the finnigans.

    Why don't you cut a slice in the back of the Finnigan to make a quick access card slot?

    • @RandoRaf
      @RandoRaf  2 года назад +1

      Not a bad idea actually. I dont often use the quick slot always worried card will fall out.

      @@hbaclassic5651 I have a Franklin and the card will not fall out of the back due to the way it's folded together. The folds connecting it together at the back put pressure on the quick access card cut making it like it is its own slot which will prevent it from falling out. I can put it upside down and shake it and the card will not fall out. This is with 6 cards in main compartment and some cash. With the Big Finn since it is only the cut and nothing else on the back yes the card can fall out if upside down.

    Enjoyed your review. My fave is the Finnigan and is my EDC. I like thinner wallets, too. I just bought the Mini Franklin that Lost Dutchman just came out with, which is similar in width to the Finnigan. I'm a little concerned that it may be too thick, since it has no stitching like the Franklin. We'll see when I get it.

      @@RandoRaf I just received the mini Franklin. It's nice and compact and has no stitching. It's slightly thicker than the Finnigan I think. It doesn't hold as many cards as the Finnigan. I can only get 7 cards max inside the wallet, where the Finnigan I can get 8 cards. I do like that the cards are completely covered. On the Finnigan, the sides of the cards are exposed just near the top. Not a big deal though. Overall, nice wallet.

    I realized after getting a few of the real small wallets like the craft and lore port etc that makes you fold cash 3+ times to fit....its an annoying process. I dont typically carry cash at all, but when I do having to fold bills up 3 times makes having something small like 3-5 bills a giant lump in the wallet. Oh then you wanna go and use the cash? So now you gotta dig in to retrieve the entire roll of your tri folded cash which isnt easy or convenient on these real small wallets as they're super tight with my 6 cards. Then you gotta take the entire thing out, go through the folded up cash which folds back on itself making it a damn disaster and a process to then go and have to fold it back up and stuff it back in

    • @RandoRaf
      @RandoRaf  Год назад

      I can understand that. I just never use cash, I just keep a bill or 2 for emergencies otherwise just CC.

      I am in the same boat. I prefer to carry little or no cash, but due to lunch runs at work I sometimes find myself with 5-10+ bills at times. I don't like folding bills more then once, so for me it's the Franklin, Johnny, and Houbei
