This stuff also makes Chronicle Sorceress just a bit better. Not having to summon Rod for searches means you could use her to set up the Draw 2 with Soul Servant's graveyard effect or send a Navigation for another negate with either Ebon Sorcerer or Magician of Chaos. I dunno HOW good that is, but it might be worth exploring.

I was just starting to transition to a more Dragoon-REF type build with some nonsense for Dragon Magia (it's still Magician of Black Chaos coded lol) but this is so interesting I need to see more.
I literally watched 2/3rds of this, fell asleep for 6 hours, just woke up, and immediately finished theast 3rd! Love to see the evolution from ya! This is awesome man! So many people seem stuck on these cards not being made DM Archetype exclusives but, you're making it work anyway! And mad respect to that! Good luck with all your life happenings man! Also I've noticed that just like in your build, rod is starting to get a little old and is getting cut to 1 even in more pure or branded builds, so I'm not surprised rod is disappearing from your list too

Well it has more consistency than the average DM decks ive seen, but will get absolutely slapped by Evenly Matched, heavily realient on being a turn 1 strategy. Idk im not sold on it yet, still has weakness of backrow removal. Ill say its decent, not terrible but not great either
That's fair, though I will say evenly matched isn't too much of a counter if you know how to play against it. You can simply wait to bring back moc with e-soul(after you make e-soul the 1 card that survives the evenly) until after the opponent's battle phase, Then bring it back, use rod's grave effect, add it back to the hand by tributing that same moc and the opponent is still locked out of monster effects, since chaos maxes effect still goes off even if he's banished. Your opponent basically has to end their turn doing nothing, so on your turn, summon rod, search for circle or whatever, bring back moc, etc. usually enough to close out the game . Similar play can be done for back row destruction, which ebon now helps us counter even more now. So evenly and back row destruction don't knock us out. The deck's real weakness is droll and not having a solid going second strategy without having to side deck. But you know, that's where you side deck for going second.

There's no way this deck has room for defensive cards. You're playing a branded engine, nadir engine, gold sarc engine, imp engine, dark magician ritual stuff, generic ritual searchers and generic dark magician stuff and Diviner AND other stuff. Even then, the consistency is horrible in testing and relies on multi card combos to do anything, AND EVEN THEN, it loses to one hand trap.
Almost half the deck is made up of starters, it's not perfect, but it's far from bricky if you know how the different engines are supposed to interact with each other. Not sure if you've seen, but the deck can play through ash and even nibiru and can still possibly full combo+ afterwards. But if it is really giving you that much trouble, I'd like to see your build.
