      @@gabepollock1641 Like Corny said, she, Ehtel Johnson and Marva Scott were sisters and were about 40% of the black female wrestling roster of ther era, and Wingo was their real name.

    My favorite thing is when Jim corrects Brian on the names of wrestlers 70 years ago, but then for modern wrestlers, he says stuff like Andre for Andrade and mispronounces Lana and nia Jax’s names haha.

    These have become my absolute favourite segments.
    The only other thing they would/could do is a "this week in history" segment.
    Different territories , a few matches. Doesn't have to go on for a half hour. But just tidbits on guys and various territories.

      There is a "In the News" omnibus collection from the 6:05 which they go through wrestling articles in the local newspapers. These are equally entertaining.

    Always enjoy hearing about pro wrestling in my home state of Ohio. My guess on that one was late 50s in Cleveland. I was too early and too far north. I did get the state right though. This is why I enjoyed Tim Hornbaker’s book on Buddy Rogers so much because of all the time Buddy spent in Ohio and all the history about who ran all the towns in Ohio back then.

    I can honestly say I love this segment. Unfortunately, I'm not well versed in all things wrestling like Jim and Brian, but have y'all thought about allowing guest to send in historic match cards and see if Jim can get it. Kinda like...     When I heard the name "Ethel Johnson" she is the black woman wrestler, (whom if Im not mistaken on name) was interviewed for Moolah Dark Side of the Ring episode. She said Moolah forced her into some kind of prostitution.

      Judo Jack Terry was Stack's handler. They were always on the same card. Myaki was George Kongozan from Hawaii. He worked as Prof. Hiro up around Detroit and Toronto. There was a Japanese wrestler back in the early 1900s called Taro Miyaki and he recycled the name but dropped one of the 'i's.

      @@joshuaDstarks Yeah but you have to think, say you see Bockwinkel at the top of the card, it could possibly be AWA, Indianapolis, Houston, San Antonio, etc. Or hell someone like Ernie ladd, could be mid south, indianapolis, etc. I wouldn't do that well either. lol

    Last one, first off, Carl Campbell became Luke Brown, Griz' partner in the Kentuckians. So this is before that. Rogers was a babyface which probably makes it Ohio. The Iron Russians I think was Pedro Godoy and Juan Sebastian in masks. So maybe... '59?
