And his confidence in being the chosen is (in my opinion) completely expected (to me) because he is always winning and fought battles and won (keep in mind against 15 Older Siblings, which nobody in his family has ever done) so (to me) its expected that he thinks he’s better then every one else which (to me) isn’t exactly false Now I could go on more about why (i think its not false) but this is too long its late and I’m dying.

WARNING SPOIL: Right before Sakura's death, the moment of "free time", when Byakuya revealed his family secret to Makoto, and how difficult it was to be part of the family, because either you live or you die, j realized that if Byakuya had decided to kill someone, he would have won.
I think if the writers chose to make him kill someone, as for the sake of the story they would make his murder unsuccessful (for the sake of moving the story along and keeping the cast alive long enough UNLESS the writers of Danganronpa chose to make a twist where the Jury actually does get the Murderer wrong and dies). If they chose to make Byakuya kill someone, and chose to also make him unsuccessful, I think that the single mistake he would have made is that he would have misjudged, overlooked, or not even acknowledged, something on the more emotional side. As in, if Byakuya chose to frame another student, then the Jury (the other students) would acknowledge a more emotional side, and come to the understanding that no, this said student can't have killed the victim, because of **insert emotional reason**. Also, maybe the victim possibly left behind a clue that the Jury would take in a deep emotional way. Byakuya is totally a logic over emotion type of person. In his eyes, his only regard of emotion, is when he can use to his advantage (that is, if he had to{before his character development}). I think the one thing that could take Byakuya down is something that exposes his weakness (that he hasn't even identified AS a weakness), his lack of understanding and regard of human emotion. I'm blanking out thinking about something in specific, but this is just my theory for a storyline in which Byakuya became the blackened. Maybe in the end as his murder is exposed, he finally develops and comes to accept even his own imperfections, right before he gets executed.

The one thing I like about Byakuya is that he is really committed to being unlikable. No secret soft side, he isn't being tsundere, he just genuinely dislikes everyone and doesn't care if they die. Right before Sakura's death, the moment of "free time", when Byakuya revealed his family secret to Makoto, and how difficult it was to be part of the family, because either you live or you die, j realized that if Byakuya had decided to kill someone, he would have won.
I think if the writers chose to make him kill someone, as for the sake of the story they would make his murder unsuccessful (for the sake of moving the story along and keeping the cast alive long enough UNLESS the writers of Danganronpa chose to make a twist where the Jury actually does get the Murderer wrong and dies). If they chose to make Byakuya kill someone, and chose to also make him unsuccessful, I think that the single mistake he would have made is that he would have misjudged, overlooked, or not even acknowledged, something on the more emotional side. As in, if Byakuya chose to frame another student, then the Jury (the other students) would acknowledge a more emotional side, and come to the understanding that no, this said student can't have killed the victim, because of **insert emotional reason**. Also, maybe the victim possibly left behind a clue that the Jury would take in a deep emotional way.
Byakuya is totally a logic over emotion type of person. In his eyes, his only regard of emotion, is when he can use to his advantage (that is, if he had to{before his character development}). I think the one thing that could take Byakuya down is something that exposes his weakness (that he hasn't even identified AS a weakness), his lack of understanding and regard of human emotion.
I'm blanking out thinking about something in specific, but this is just my theory for a storyline in which Byakuya became the blackened. Maybe in the end as his murder is exposed, he finally develops and comes to accept even his own imperfections, right before he gets executed.

The one thing I like about Byakuya is that he is really committed to being unlikable.
No secret soft side, he isn't being tsundere, he just genuinely dislikes everyone and doesn't care if they die. Even his tragic backstory did not endear me to him. It actually made me hate him more, somehow. I'm honestly impressed.
