When you realize hiyoko has the same voice actor as kirumi
For obvious reasons, all DRV3 characters are voiced by people who voiced a past role in a DR game.

That's actually inevitable. Before DRV3, there had been over 40 different characters, so the chances for some of them to voice some again was possible.
Plus it didn't help this was during the era of the VA strike.

Ethelle And Sully Actually, I looked it up wondering why I didn’t live, and it said that it was either me or Kuzuryuu, and the game developers thought that Pekoyama dying, Kuzuryuu getting major character development, then him dying would be overwhelming for the players.
Though what I’m really interested in, is why would he go to the music venue? How would the trial play out? Would more people be more depressed? So many unanswered questions!
@@ethelleandsully7547 Not that I want anyone to die instead of anyone, but what if Sonia died instead? That would be an impact for Kazuichi and Gundham. If this happened, I can imagine Kazuichi and Gundham reactions to Sonia's death.
and in CH4 Kazuichi and Gundham will try to get along and become friends.

Admittedly, Hiyoko and Junko (both forms) is probably the funniest interaction I've seen so far~.
EDIT: Although, I do see Hiyoko and Ibuki being friends, since the former's insults basically never work on the latter~.
What? That's not true, they don't hate eachother at all!
Ibuki's totally not mad by Hiyoko's offenses, which means outside of Mahiru and maybe Hajime and Chiaki, she's the only person who's friendly with her. Since the only person on her personal life that loves her is her dad, every person probably counts a lot, even if she doesnt admit it.
On the other side, Hiyoko's the only person on the whole Danganronpa 2 cast that enjoys Ibuki's music, and it's actually her fan. Hiyoko even states that it's Ibuki's redeeming quality.
Also, the Twilight Syndrome case tells that Mahiru, Ibuki, Mikan and Hiyoko were friends. So, If you put Mikan out for obvious reasons you can see that they were Hiyoko's closest friends, before everything happened!

Not really. Since the beginning of the game it was like that.
Hiyoko said something like "It's great that you have good earing, cause your figure, face and personality totally suck"
And Ibuki simply laughed it off and said "you cut me deep with your knife of truth". Ibuki doesnt really care about Hiyoko's insults, specially since, as i have already said they *were* friends in the past.
And Ibuki's only fan on her class is Hiyoko, so Ibuki clearly likes Hiyoko very much for that, as well.

@DIO Hiyoko is a trash character who likes to crush all things weaker then her to please her own Ego (including Mikan) while sucking at Basic things like tying her Kimono or holding a grave ceremony wich looked like she was about to summon what-was-her-name-again's Ghost.
When Fujuhiko is acting all Edgy to look intimdating like a Yakuza would Hiyokos reason to act like this is because she used to be a spoiled TV-Star and had plenty of people doing the Chores for her. You might even say she's more of a Princess then the Ultimate Princess is.
I like Kokichi from V3 far more then her or heck, even Komaeda in that matter as his constant requests that someone please sacrifice his live for a tough Trial or delusioned Brabbles about Hope and Despair come from a deranged mind rather then constant Attention-Seeking and a fragile Ego (maybe that's why she became "Semi-Friends" with Mikan in the end, a Masochist for the Sadist yet both are more similar then they want to admit)

Anyone who says Kokichi is a jerk and exactly like Hiyoko, that one event will always put that statement to shame. It proves Kokichi has a limit and doesn't just pick on anyone. He was nice to Mikan, who is very sensitive and sweet to everyone. I would like to see him interact with someone like Sonia, Ibuki, Kaede, really anyone is a genuinely nice to everyone

Before I got into danganronpa, I thought both Hiyoko and Miu were the shy and calm girls. I also thought Kokichi was like crazy crazy but he really was not, imo I feel like Kokichi is completely overrated. Nagito was ok, he was a pretty cool character, I also thought he was gonna be crazy crazy and he was sort of, but I found him annoying at times when he would talk about hope.
As far as main characters, Makoto was pretty bland but I like how his character is more calm than the other two. I didn’t think Hajime was gonna be that bland either, I was expecting more out of him, but I think he’s my favorite sdr2 character. Shuichi is ok, I feel a little bad for him though since he lacks confidence.
I can’t be the only one who thinks Hiyoko was mean to Kokichi because she wanted to protect Mikan
