Mets fans know what this means. Most baseball fans don't understand what this means. This means that the best pitcher in baseball is back on the mound. 13 months later and he's still carving up hitters in a way we have never seen before. And he barely missed a beat. At the time of writing, he has struck out 37 in 23.1 IP, he's allowed 6 runs (not good for him, elite for a normal Cy Young winner) 1 BB, an ERA+ of 177. And that's in his first 5 starts after not pitching in the Major Leagues in over a year. The rest of the league should be shitting them themselves.

SNY production values are pretty great. The cameras and production are like artful filmings of the games.
And Cohen rules. Wherever there's an ESPN, Fox or (heaven help us) AppleTV booth, the downgrade feels like being dragged over broken glass. Because we're spoiled. Keith and Ronnie too. Far as I'm concerned it can be Gary for the next 25 years here.

Watch them give an even higher AAV to a 40-year-old with declining skills. Or maybe they’re buying what Senga is selling-namely, bad command and a fastball that plays below its velo.
