The GhostCat F2.2 Pro is a high-torque monster. It features high travel suspension, huge brakes with insane stopping power, a light weight frame, and best of all, the highest torque 52-volt motor I have ever tested. Watch this full review to learn more.

Man I love that bike I will share this one I never saw one that nice for that price
I definitely think I should buy this and add it to my bike collection.
Did you do anything to make it go 35mph or is that how it comes factory?
@X-GamerPro-HD yeah you just unlock it in the display
We appreciate the review and feedback.
We are listening to customer feedback and will be making the necessary modifications redesigning the front fender and improving the kickstand for the next product run.
Outstanding! Your reply demonstrates you care and you are a great company!
Thank you for being active in the comments section!
I would be interested if that battery was bigger since my general commute is 40mile round trip and Walkkie offers more range.
Love seeing that a company engages and listens to customers. I'm seriously thinking about making the the jump to this company.
Please add more range
Got the bike over the weekend!! Kevin the owner was fantastic with his customer care. Very happy with the performance of the bike and I’m looking forward to some nice rides as the weather gets better on the east coast. This beast has some great torque and is very fast!!
Hell yeah!
Thank you man, I really appreciate the review. I agree on the things that can be improve and also with the things a like: speed, torque, brakes and suspension for a great price. I live outside the US, so my bike will arrive at the end of april, so this video keeps me excited while I'm waiting.
Again, thanks for the review!
Awesome! Thanks for the kind words! Appreciate your comment and viewership. Which country do you live in?
@@maximumchargeEV I appreciate the patience with me and asking everyday about this review 😅 Regards from Panama 🇵🇦🇵🇦🇵🇦😎⚡👍✅
I think you just sold me a bike man, nice video by the way
Thanks! It's a great bike, so much fun to ride it around. Enjoy!
Thats awesome man, cool intro and very high quality production over all. Appreciate all the nice looking angles of the bike.
Ive already got one on the way.
There's a Swedish expression " he who waits for something good never waits too long" all though I like to flip that, cause waiting for this "ex girlfriend forgetter" has felt like an eternity.
Hope you did not scrape the knee to bad 🤗
Be careful out dare!
thank you! Who knows, with this bike, you might find a new girlfriend to sit on the back with you!
Amazing bike, great review👍
Thanks!
Nice bike -- great power, torque and suspension. I just bought a FENGQS 26" fat tire bike w/ twin 1000W motors (each wheel), 24ah battery w/ 58V.
With both motors on, it's a full fledged beast and launches you to 35mph in under 12-secs. I've ridden up to 60-miles on a charge and just love it.
Unlike the GhostCat though, my suspension is rough so I don't have the travel yours has. However, I bought this for $1300.
Sounds like fun!
Wow this bike looks incredible. I have to try one!!
It's fun as hell!
Wow, I love what I'm seeing here, especially that torque! Love the price too!
Price is very good for the power and specs!
Great review! It looks like a smaller version of the Neutronic ebike Excalibur I'm interested in. Will you be doing a review on the Excalibur as well?
wow that looks interesting. I'll reach out to them and see what they say.
Awesome job! I see I’m not the only one that everything likes to go wrong during reviews lol. Glad you didn’t get hurt. Surface of he moon describes most of the roads around here 😂
Thanks! Made for some good entertainment 😂
@@maximumchargeEV It sure did lol!
Alex hates his Town...he hates his sidewalks....
@IMBruceECLECTIC hey at least they serve as a good off road testing ground for these videos!
@@maximumchargeEV...truth 😂😅
Great video work day 1 and day 2 nice...
Magic!
The rear wheel should be laced with the spokes crossing, the spokes are way too small dia to be laced this way , the brakes may be better than some but I feel most all ebikes use brake calipers and disc, pads that are way too small , they should use moped/ motorcycle brakes , I like the long shock travel and the large seat . Nice bike use larger spokes and lace for more strength if you have the space if you don't use the largest dia that fits the motor
Once you get to know the major component manufacturers differences between them, the pricing of these bikes makes more sense. Its also best to accept the fact that you'll slowly need to upgrade many of the smaller components to better ones because they are not made to last. That battery also seems suspicious, the physical size does not match the capacity, so they may chosen a bigger enclosure for aesthetics rather than any other reason. Also the cells are probably not from the big three, but hopefully A grade domestics.
Surely you saw tailhappytv's review of the E-Cells 5-star bike by now? I opened up RUclips last night and immediately did a double take! He gave it a pretty fair review I thought, but I kind of thought he did them dirty when he wrecked the thing while attempting to put the chain back on (for the second time). To see someone wreck such an expensive bike and act as if it's no big deal, is quite an eye-opener for people who are watching the review because they're actually in the market to purchase one. At least for people like me anyway. People who watch numerous reviews and do research for quite a while before forking over their money for a bike. I mean hell, if I had money to throw around like he did that bike, I can think of three or four different bikes that I would have bought this last year, but instead, I watched hundreds of videos like that one, and all of yours of course, because I'm trying to choose just one out of the handful of bikes on the market, that after doing tons of research, I eventually end up deeming the most worthy of spending my hard-earned money on. I'm willing to bet, that even those who make three or four times the amount of money that I make per year, are doing it the exact same way that I am/did.
If you plan on keeping it, can't you get the 6" riser they offer if you want the bars higher? This is pretty much what I wanted out of my next bike. Torque, suspension, higher top speed, better brakes
Oh yes I'm going to be making more videos on this bike for sure
Woah! Seems like great bang for your buck!
I think so!
info on the speed/motor controller please... i need one that supports 1500w.. !!
I’m buying this bike right flipping now!!!!
Epic
Excellent presentation, as usual.
From my "ain't that just typical" files, was ready to order, but they are back . . . as in back-ordered. Site projects May for the "next batch."
Thank you! Will you put your order in so it's ready for May?
@@maximumchargeEV I have had terrible experiences the three times I have paid for back-orders. So I'll have to pass, especially since I have the patience of a race horse that has to piss.
@MortimerEsq ooof sorry to hear that man. What were your bad experiences like?
ill be using your code very soon .. im really excited $$$$
Awesome!
@@maximumchargeEV doooneeeee leets goooo wooohoooo
@@maximumchargeEV just bought an actionglow bike kit for the night rides out here cant wait to hit the streets $$$$
I ordered a razor mx650 and converted it to 72v 2000w. Years ago💁🏾 as shown In my profile pic. That’s one of my go karts builds.
epic
Yes, performance is important but be careful making assumptions. Those cheesy b/w displays don’t keep the cost down all that much. A nice color display is more than eye candy and a two grand bike should have one.
So kickstand issue aside, the front forks could use another $100 of upgrade. And I would pay another $100 for a 25 ah battery. Say $50 worth of front and rear flexible blinkers. May as well remove the fender. Overall good stuff. Great job on the review!
great points! If the controller was moved under the seat there would be a lot of space for a larger battery for sure. Thank you!
If you had to choose between GhostCat F2.2 and Billy Goat V2 what would you choose? I'm leaning more towards GC but BG might have a slight edge on performance and top speed.
If I'll be doing off roading, ghost cat all the way
@@maximumchargeEVthanks for the reply man! Much appreciated!!!
Range is important since my general commute is 40 miles round trip. I got to say, it looks like a nice bike.
Well at 20 amp hours if range is important ur gonna wanna keep looking. This thing is realisticly gonna get u like maybe 20 miles tops at 20ah
I love it 😮
Thanks!
Outstanding brakes....
They are nuts!
What are some ebikes you'd recommend for commuting 20 miles with some good power looking to spend around 2500-2700
That's a pretty good budget. How fast do you want to go? Join my Facebook group ebike Addicts for further discussion
This was my next choice after one of the Goat Bikes.. the street bike style frame is clean.
What did you like about this bike over the goat?
@maximumchargeEV this was the bike I had my eye on before I found out about GPB. That was before the upgrade when it was just the regular ghostcat. I like the frame of this bike, the colorway, the style overall is really well thought out imo. It looks like a crotch rocket. It's cool. Now since they have made it faster it's really nice. I had originally ordered the Billy Goat because it was kiiinda the same frame then I switched to the Motor Goat. This will most likely be the next bike I get unless something better comes along.
@lilvegasbasc-se7en-0-duece67 this would pair nicely with the goat since that's more for the street and this does very well off road being more nimble and maneuverable
You said be honest.
I don’t know what to expect in e-bikes but, good suspension? The front wheels and guard scrub at full travel?
How does such a prototype become a production item?
I don’t think it would go where my mountain bike can but in my climate it would get much better range and speed specs.
Thanks gif the video.
Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate your viewership
Is there a trick to adjusting hydraulic brakes? Do they need to be bled like car brakes?
sometimes they need to be bled, but that's rare. Adjusting the caliper is pretty easy.
Can I get this shipped to UK?
specs look good but not a fan of the smaller tire diameter moped design base , diggin my meelod dm xt 600… puttin some riser bars on the meelod with 12 degree swept back because my wrists were aching bad.
very cool!
@@maximumchargeEV great vids … after buying the dual motor , never going back to the singles, the hill climbing of the meelod is so much better than my other e bikes… meelod is preordering on the 52 volt version of the xt 600 dual 1000 watts motors not sure what the dl stands for.
How’s this compared to goat v3? Which do you like better ? I’m betting goat .
similar acceleration and torque, some test show it to be a faster accelerator. Better suspension, overall lighter weight, much better for off-roading. it's like a baby surron.
I guess this is what I need….
I have an electric bike and a talaria but I could do with one of these with peddles.
Would be the more legal option vs the talaria!
I love seeing the GOAT in first place for everything.....
Range sux tho or I’d be all about it
Guy just did a test at 47 miles with 2 batteries..
No hablo Español amigo
@@maximumchargeEV 🤣🤣🤣 not bad at all haha.
When and where will I be able to buy a spare battery? And how much will it cost?
please double check with customer support, they will have an accurate answer for you.
💯‼️
Would you buy this or motor goat v3?
If I did a lot of off roading I would get the ghostcat
You can go a lot faster downhill at a 90-degree angle.
lol yes true. Downhill speeds aren't the most useful thing in the world. It's good to see how close you can get to the max rpm of the motor under no load. But yes technically terminal velocity is the downhill speed of all ebikes.
Lol😂😂
Am I right in thinking p14 is the max amp setting? If so shouldn’t it be set to 40?
Nah it's something else. The highest it goes is 25. Customer service would know more.
@@maximumchargeEV if it’s an m5 display then p14 is definitely the controller output value
@Fidgeycent possibly. Highest it went to was 25.
@@maximumchargeEV ahh ok, looks a class bike anyway!
I have this bike it's awesome wish the crank was shorter because it's almost impossible to pedal it is so snappy
They are working to make the crank arms shorter. Maybe there's a kit they will release to fix this
@maximumchargeEV that would be awesome I personally am going to buy BMX style handlebars also to raise the height of that also
We are working on a shorter crank arm and will have a kit for existing customers,
Hello..
Still HAVEN'T STARTED THE NIGHT FOR LIGHT VISIBILITY TEST
I've thought about it and I don't think I will be doing that test. Takes too much time and its not safe. Best I can do is a dark room with the Headlight on. Maybe someone else will ride this at night and test it.
You do know telling people the front brakes what's most important will get them hurt the quickest it'll make you wreck
Most of your braking is done by the front. Explain how that's not true.
@@maximumchargeEV Well, if you need to stop fast, you most likely will go over the handlebar… When I am braking, I use 60% front, 40% rear…
So on the hill test you do a sideways run up now🤷♂️ in the past it was hit the trottle from the base.. those numbers are skewed in favor of all the bikes with the flat run-up.
I only did it from a dead stop on one bike, all the rest had a running start.
Great honest review! Glad u did not hurt your big Slavic Head....😁🤣😂🦵💪🚴♂️
Lol not much in there to hurt thankfully!
what is the song from near start?
Should be in the description :)
@@maximumchargeEV Yup I searched description first but not found it. There are two songs but none of these is that first one. By first I mean from the first seconds of clip
I got the Hidose b6 pretty much same bike .
Weaker, slower, worse suspension. The frozen pizza of ebikes compared to new haven pizza.
I can buy this bike for 1,500 in the UK which is a deal I can’t refuse. It’s abuse the same price I payed for my 750w bike. But I also have a talaria but that’s not as cheap as this.
This I will put in my basket and will buy at some point.
Being shipping from America……I’m going to guess it will take a few weeks to arrive.
We ship direct from our factory to the UK delivery time 45 days.
GHOSTCAT F2.2 1500W PRO
$1,999.00
Looks like the goat bike, beat it in all three categories
This bike is better in weight and suspension for sure tho
This is just a different type of bike though.
Major design flaw. You can’t sit up close to the “tank”. Same issue as surron. Talaria lets you scoot all the way up
Do these companies just go to Alibaba, pick out parts and have them drop shipped to us? I feel like thats what i should have done instead of ordering a bike.
Lots of people have done just that. These companies are basically dropshippers. You're paying for the warranty, customer support, and convenience, as it comes 80% assembled and with UL cert, vin etc.
You're correct Jeff, exactly that! However! As jcrust explains, you get things other than parts that are MUCH MUCH HARDER TO GET
@@j_crust4582 thanks. Kinda makes me feel better. Goat has been pretty good. Not really any communication unless we message them but otherwise ok. I haven't gotten the bike yet. I just noticed this frame is exactly the same frame as the Billy goat.
@@j_crust4582not ul certified here
almost all of these parts come from china, along with almost everything else we use on a day to day basis haha
This bike is cool
Sure is!
Ok as an actual motorcyclist and a mid drive mountain bike owner i am not trading in my klr dual sport nor my bmw k1200 just yet dor one of these. .
Why not have both?
so how fast was PAS on 4 and 5?
I believe pas5 goes all the way up to top speed around 36ish mph. Not sure what pas 4 is because I don't really pedal this bike.
Hows getting parts?
We are based out of SOCAL and stocking up on any part customers might need.
Good deal on that with the brakes and suspension for this price. It would probably start out faster but I believe the Kepler takes it after 30 seconds in a drag race. 😁👍
This is faster for sure than the kepler throttle only.
@@maximumchargeEV I don't know. Kepler I have does 36 mph on flat roads. 38 plus PAS
Woww!!!.. nice e bike🥰😂🤣👍🙏🙏🙏
Right?!
Can you ride with another person on?
Whoa dude this is only a 20 amp hour battery? With a motor like tgat this thing is supposed to be driven hard, but at 20 amp hours this thing is gonna last like 15 miles riding it like its supposed to be.
Do they have a Ghostcat "Amateur" with a 500w motor and 13amp 48v system?
sacrilege!
Any idea what battery plate that is? I have the same on my X50. Looking for a better battery. It's some new Hai Long type.@@maximumchargeEV
OMG! nice review on this bike. Once they said, only a bike is rated as good when it can easily take a steep hill [32:44] without a momentum but for this one ...FAIL! Too bad actually. I had expected a lil more. The suspension is A+ tier but all other specs/parts are not really convincing to me. Pretty common.
Thanks! doing that hill throttle only is insane. I'll have to try my 5000+ watt dual motor bike since that could power up, or something torqued down low like a mid drive would crawl up that.
85 lbs....light!!
Ghost or Motor Goat?
If I'm off roading, ghost all day.
Watched 10 sec until I saw hub motor
Is this bike waterproof 🤔🤔🤔
water resistant yes, water proof no.
I wants a use e bike
Why the fat knobby tires?
People saying add more range just buy another battery ?!
We will offer customers that purchase a bike before 05/01 the opportunity to purchase an extra battery for $400.
"I'm a terrible drone parent"
That was definitely the best part.
😄
looks a bit slow but i ride real motorcycles ...id more likely build my own! thanks for the vid!
oh yeah these don't compare to motorcycles. What kind of build would you do?
Clearly im an idiot and missed it as i was trying to watch while doing stuff. Was a real-world, every day use, range given? I love most of what i saw but need at least 20 to 30 miles of range. Granted, that would be with pedal assist.
Everyday use is in the 35-45 mile range with a mix of throttle and pedaling.
@@GHOSTCATBIKES thank you for the prompt reply. I'm going to put this at the top of my "possible purchase" list.
I have heart problems and I'm on disability (so money is obviously tight - which rules out most bikes for me that have any level of performance) so I'd like to be able to pedal a bike but have enough power/torque to get me home if something happens. I live on top of a mountain of a hill (14 percent grade) so me pedaling back home is pretty much a no go. I could do it as a kid but not anymore.
I also live a few miles from town so just getting to town and back will eat some battery. I think the range you stated should leave me plenty of wiggle room.
Thanks again. Might take a while but I'll be looking into your company in the future.
Hey man any way to send an ebike my poor way. Id love to have one. And i keep seei g these videos about how easy it is to get a free one by having a youtube channel. Sadly i never picked up content creation and the baby i had in dec makes me not able to afford one
I wish I was at the level to be doing that! Check out some of the reviewers who have almost 100k subs
Weak forks " only 80mm 😂 should be more like 120 mm to 160 mm would balance out the rear / front suspension"
stay tuned!
looked it up, they only have a 52 mile range...wont see me on one anytime soon.... with a name like Harley I'd like to be able to go somewhere with it :-\ not saying it bad.. but I'm sticking clear of it simply because of the wait time recharging it... they're spouting torque, but if it had any more toque then a normal bike it would flip abnd slam your head into the payment.....
:-\ not gunna get a bike the people who made it have more torque then common sense.... if it has more torque then you weight then its just gunna pop a wheelie everytime you try to accelerate lol
It's perfectly controllable, only if you lean way back, or you're on a steep hill, it will wheelie. Surrons have been able to do those for almost half a decade without any issues. You want a weaker ebike?
Man I don't even know why they have you testing the bike😢
what do you mean?

@@maximumchargeEV I'm not sure I don't have don't have any experience with higher than 48v. I'm looking for a range of 50-60 during pedal assist and pulling a kiddo trailer. Obviously it's a performance machine not exactly what I need for my needs. Nice bike! I like the new ecells, dual battery at 35ah is bad ass!

We are improving the front fender in the next batch along with shorter crank arms.
Twenty amp hours means you'll be lucky if you get twenty miles
It's not a long range bike
What happened to your brake lever, didn't hear you mention that, did it fall off, did you wreck and break it, you just said it was missing after yesterday, and left us hanging...Although I did skip through some parts that were redundant..Never mind, heard it at the very end..
Forgot to explain that but yes I crashed it. It's in the review
At 28:00 he had a minor whoops
The ebike looks good..but it's not looking good in the video..kick stand in wrong place..not enough power even tho it says 2080 Watts of power..front folk bottom out..cheap break leaves..I only saw 34 mph not 35 mph..the ebike needs a big up grade ..not worth the money 😊
Some of those issues will be addressed for the next batch. Tell me, what do you think the cost would be if it had more power and top speed?

Not much sign of this 'performance' you keep banging on about. Most cheap e-bikes do that 30-ish MPH , and this is certainly a cheap bike as in cheap rubbish.
I'm definitely going to call out an idiot comment when I see one. Yours is one of them. This is the highest torque single motor 52v ebike I've ever tested, and If you knew anything about ebikes you would know it doesn't take much to go 30mph on flat ground, and bikes aren't solely rated based on their top speeds. Try going fast up a hill on one of those cheap ebikes you mentioned, you won't be able to. What about the suspension and brake performance? No where near where this is. Your overly confident ignorance is inexcusable.

You're a little defensive there to say the least, you obviously don't like getting called out on your BS me thinks. It's blatantly obvious to anyone with even a modicum of intelligence that your video is nothing more than an advertisement for the bike you got for free *operative word there being 'free.'
I could write a small essay on the BS sales schpiel you used but I was was done when you stated it being like a mini Suron. Sellouts like you who make a living from reviewing 'feeebies' are what's wrong with RUclips.
@@maximumchargeEVNow you're deleting my replies. How sad you are. The truth definitely hurts hey 🤦♂️🤷♂️🤣
@Adventures_with_Sog I didn't delete anything. Did you leave any vulgarity in there? If so youtube deletes. It

No unless the snowflakes now class 'BS' as worthy of crying over. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
