That whole album is incredible...I bought it the day it was released and learned every song mostly that year. Haven't played any of them in awhile and have likely forgotten a lot of it. This is a great cover!

I know that making these covers and pumping them out pretty fast is probably hard enough the way it is, but I'd really like to see you do it. Keep on rocking, man. Sounds real tight. Noise gate + compressor? Is this running through an AxeFX/Kemper? One thing I've noticed with your vids is that the larger more complex chords have really great note articulation. What's the trick for that?
Just the EVH 5150 dual mic'ed and double-tracked. I run a noise gate but compression I put in post as I do EQ just to clean it up a little bit and get it to pop more in a mix. That's pretty much it.
