As a church we do try to fix issues internally, and that is why things like these are not readily leaked out to the public.

I went to Hillsong College in 2016 and remember seeing Anna around college although we never really talked that much. She was always super vibrant and kind towards others and seeing this makes my heart break for her and makes me so mad against the injustice that is displayed at Hillsong Church. Wouldn’t Billy Graham’s Grandson know that the Bible teaches that the Christian ought to walk in forgiveness and to do good to those who use and abuse you ?
Billy Graham’s Grandson and Anna are the one’s Manipulating Scripture.

12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,

15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
      Matthew 18:21-22
21 Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”
22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.

29 To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either.
30 Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.
31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.
32 “If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount.
35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

@@meeee6778 This is a false equivalence as well as a singular case trying to prove some point or other, I'm not quite sure which point. Brian Huston is not mentally ill nor is he disabled; rather he was the leader of a religious organisation which espouses honesty and other behaviours as per the teachings of Jesus Christ. These teachings did not include drunkenness, covering up crimes or sending lewd texts to employees. Mind you he is not the only one of Hillsong's management team accused of such things nor of covering them up. Your point about a "disabled" or "mentally unstable", I'm not sure which, man not being prosecuted is a matter for the police complaints tribunal and nothing whatsoever to what is being discussed about Hillsong. I do't know where you are from but in Australia, since the closure of most of the Psychiatric Hospitals which emanated from the USA, those with a mental illness or disability are far more likely to go to prison, for even minor crimes, than not as there is nowhere else of a restrictive environment to place them. For your information "Asylums", as they were then called, were initially set up in order to treat such people rather than simply incarcerate them so they are back where they started more than 100 years ago. Here's another fact for you: only a very small percentage of the mentally ill commit violent crimes whereas there are many more violent crimes perpetrated against the mentally ill by ordinary members of society. And another fact: more crimes, of all descriptions, are committed by people under the influence of alcohol than any other substance. Also the excuse of "I was drunk at the time, your honour, and couldn't help myself." is the most commonly used defence.
I would suggest your "friend", meaning what you describe is actually hearsay, should take his/her complaint to the relevant authorities and that you stop attempting to prove the nonsensical argument of "Two wrongs make a right."; they don't.

My mom died when I was small and my dad was not a believer in Jesus so I persevered in the faith on my own, but even though I felt so powerless in the harassment situation it never crossed my mind to report the leader that was doing that to me. The leader crossed the line by attempting to kiss me and started kissing my neck so I was able to leave and stop him from actually kissing me. I then reported him but the problem was instead covered up. It's really sad that things like this happen in the church.

Yes, one does not have to attend a megachurch to be in relationship with God, but we as believers and followers of Christ are commanded scripturally to be involved in a local body of believers. Hebrews 10:25 states, ""And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near." The devil works hard to bring down God's church. Many false converts are typically the tool the enemy uses. Temptation is the spell that works best in us sinners (humanity) but through Christ, daily, He will strengthen us and give us discernment. We def shouldn't overlook these bad deeds, sweeping things under the rug shows the bad fruit within the staff. They need to repent and go back the Word. God would never be ok with anything that these people did, and unbelievers get the wrong impression. We can't operate in the same way as the world does, although we are all sinners in need of a Savior, but how we act to immorality is what should set us apart. We win and lose many battles but we stay! So walking away is not an easy option for me, however, as a Christian, it's not about me, it's really where I feel God sends me, where I can be most effective. So if He says go, I go, If He says stay, I stay...It's not complicated for me,

They are the world best con artist, and this church is extremely lucrative because they’ve learned how to hide behind religion. If this churches does go down another will pop up just like it.

If he is a true born believer of Christ Jesus, he should not be drinking. Yes, when people give their life to Jesus, God is the one cleaning the person changed in a person takes two not only God. God says if you love me obey my Commandments. Also depends what kind of teaching they receiving, there is so many churches that are worldly, no teaching about what sin does to an individual and the consequences that sin brings. God says in His word the wages of sin is death. This areas in a person's life must be deal daily and if necessary use the help of true holy Christian counseling. It is a reproach that this type of behavior brings to God and the body of Christ. I say this because not everybody serving God acts this way. I blame this to the church, for backing away from Gods holy walk, especially those who God has put to take care His Sheep. They are going to give account to God one Day. Many are right now in hell because of desobedients to the most high God!

So sorry for her, God bless her. This is why people has a hard time trusting the body of Christ here on Earth. I go to church, read my Bible, love Jesus my Savior, but I am very cautious of whom I trust in church, I never let my kids out of sight there either. Don’t idolize people there, respect, but always use common sense.

The men in leadership of this church have problems. They are sick men who need professional help. I attended Hillsong Church on and off from 2000 - 2002 when I lived in Sydney. Usually, my friends and I went to the city location, but occasionally, we went to Castle Hill, which was the large congregation with the celebrity worship leaders and pastors (Darlene Zschech, Marty Sampson, Brian & Bobbie Houston). One Sunday night in 2002, I went with 5 or 6 female friends from my uni to the Castle Hill location. It was the last time I ever went near that church. We were all in our late teens and early 20's, from Australia, Sweden, and the USA (me). We were sitting in the third or fourth row from the stage, and I will never forget the male worship leader (no clue what his name was) who stared at us all through the worship portion.
After the worship, this leader actually said in front of the entire congregation: "Isn't God good? I keep looking at these beautiful young ladies standing right here up front and wondering if they're here for the first time..." It wasn't our first time, but I think it was the first time we'd all gone together in a group that large.
This worship leader was a familiar face at the Castle Hill location. He was definitely older, maybe late 30's or 40's. I can't remember exactly what he said next, but it was something about making sure we didn't leave before we were welcomed by some newcomers representative.
After the service ended, a girl named Nat Caine, who apparently worked for this church, immediately approached us along with some of her friends (who were thankfully female and closer to our age) to find out who we were and where we were from. We hadn't even had a chance to all stand up and leave our seats before they were surrounding us.
I left Australia that year to return to the States. Christian young people in the States were often enthralled that I had attended that church. At the time, there were no international Hillsong locations outside of Australia, and that church was a kind of fantasy for wannabe American worship leaders. I told anyone who asked me about it that if I did return to Sydney, I would never set foot inside that church again. Years later, when Hillsong opened churches in the States, I maintained the same position. I do enjoy their music, but that church is just despicable. Marty Sampson was absolutely right in what he said when he denounced this facade. I hope more very public Hillsong figures will come out and do the same thing.

This is what happens when people become church leaders without being anointed by JESUS CHRIST. When the presence and fear of CHRIST is present in churches, these problems do not occur, because CHRIST won’t permit it. Holiness is present and also accountability.
The LORD JESUS CHRIST told us His people to come out of the world and serve Him.
How is it that so many churches have so many problems?
I go to church, the real church and none of these things that I hear happen, because the church has accountability, responsibility, respect to it’s members and guidelines to follow.

All throughout the Bible the great men of God had fallen short & did wrong things. But thank God their is forgivness & people can change their behaviour. We do hold leaders to a higher standard but Brian has been a very faithful leader for years. We should not forget the kingdom building he & his wife have done. The many souls they brought to Jesus. The devil works overtime on pastors as he knows they are a great threat to his evil kingdom. Lets all not forget we have sinned & are not perfect. We would want mercy & forgivness if we stumble. We all make mistakes. Bless the people who have been hurt also. May they still walk strong with Jesus & have healing.
