Great tips, Megan. Measurements are so important. I get so irritated at the number of people who post items without them. It wastes my time and theirs having to request them, only to find out that it won’t fit where I need to put it. And, yes, good photos are a must. By the way, I love your hair like this - the style and the length. Your dress is really pretty too. Blessings!❤️

Very good tips. Stuff you learn after selling on market place. And you’re right. Porch pickup is the way to go. You always need to be safe when buying too.

Great tips. Totally in agreement when to give your address. I've even told sellers when I'm the one buying please Don't send me your address until 30 mins to an before pickup time n vice versa.

One exception is It increases in value if it is vintage and cool or sought-after and in good shape.

Hi Megan, I just found your channel and was excited to get your advice on selling your pieces on MarketPlace. Unfortunately I’m not able to hear the sound on this video. Your recent videos were fine. Is there a setting I need to change on my end?

Have you noticed a decline in sales recently? I’ve sold for several years & notice times of ups & downs-ex. When school is starting it seems to slow down. But the last few months I’m not seeing the interest as before: maybe my prices are to high or just not the right items. We have some free sites in my area and I think they have hurt the selling on marketplace. Now people just want to get rid of stuff and post as free so the stuff gets picked up or they just want to make select donations to those needing the specific item.

It’s because of the economy. Gas prices are too high, grocery prices are raised practically every day, as well as lumber and other construction items. Most people just aren’t spending a lot of money on non-essentials. We are in a recession. Pray that the powers-that-be wise up and care before we fall down the hole of a Depression.

When doing porch pickup, do you make them send money before you leave it out on the porch? I feel like people would just come get it and never pay you?

Hey Becca! I’ve never ever had anyone come get something and not pay me. Surprisingly most people are honest. Ive even had people leave extra money because they didn’t have change. Typically I don’t have anyone pay me until they pick the item up. But I also don’t do porch pickup for big ticket items. Anything I’m selling for over $50 I usually wait on the porch for them to come and I sell it in person. But that’s just me!
