I wanted to suggest something far up the folk end since Dalriada didn't get through. Glad this one made it, fingers crossed for the other two picks (which are very different in style and neither from Nuclear Blast)! Korpiklaani are, it must be said, a little _too_ fond of the vodka, but that's Finnish winters for you. They are still very entertaining. We knew someone who used to spend half the year in UK when it was summery, and the other half in NZ for the same reason/season. Thanks!

9:38 yes we have great summer, as local joke goes; "Finnish summer, beautifull and low on snow...". In reality, winter is harshish down to -40'c on north, south part a bit warmer, just down to -25'c. Summer, long days short nights, northern part with midnight sun (from nordic circle to north), also this means that on winter there is no sun on mid day on northern parts. Last summer was hot one, up to +30'c on "worst days", but ofter around, so very cozy 18-22'c.
That small building you asked if it was a sauna where persons come out topless, seems that it was a traditional wood burning sauna - as this song story seems to be around 1920-1930 ish (or earlier) and on rural area. And yes, song seems to be love story between maid and young farmhand fella.

Yes, a beautiful country, with treetops so tall, quite far from Cairo, and where Michael Palin got to be, as he wished.
