The greatest part if this video is the teamwork between Joe & Francois when Francois mixes out of the Record Joe is playing. It is rare that you see DJ's work so well together. I have seen the 3 of them not be on the same page a few times. I used to get annoyed at Body & Soul on 6 Hubert Street when Joe used to go so hard on the cross over that you couldn't make out the song anymore. But now, he has perfected the art of fooling with the crossover & entertaining us at the same time with the bo
There are Enough HOUSE DJs out there for EVERYONE"S Taste, this from an OLD House Head from the 8lo's. I was there with Larry Levan @ the Garage and Tony Humphries @ Zanzibar, I Love Lil' Louie Vega and also Love Joe Claussell/ Body and Soul, Also Luv'Baby Boy (as I call him Omar Abdallah-Let;s KEEP HOUSE ABOUT LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE,T HAT IS PART OF WHAT SETS US APART NOTHING HARSH or NEGATIVE, SOME OF US APPRECIATE WHAT JOE DOES,when He Annoys U, Listen to Another Great DJ :0) KEEP IT POSITIVE
Love seeing Joe Claussell jamming to Don't You Want My Love and loved Francois K's opening The Love I Lost. ! Never heard cut Joe was rocking on his segment but, As My Fav DJ says: JOE'S A BEAST ON THE ISO!! Keep Bangin'!!!
This isn't House Music! Where's Avicii, Where's Afrojack, Where's Hardwell??? That is TRUE House Music!!! Haha, Just Kidding Folks ; ) I'm going to see this trio for the first time this Friday and I can't wait!
You honestly think someone like Francois hasn't figured out how to beatmatch properly? If you had the guts to play the tracks he does you would realise some of them don't always lend themselves to epic 3 minute blends. He is beyond simple beat matching, its all about the selection and the music coming out of the speakers... He doesn't lose the forest for the trees by getting caught up on that shit, none of them do. They put incredible music together and are not constricted to those bullshit rules you associate with tempo...
it felt real good so simple just let Go now shake stomp your feet let your neck drop its now laugh laugh give yourself pro mission. that's peace its in your inner world go their!!!!!!!
To Jamallus55 I Understand what you might not like about Joe's werk outs but the crossover in dj culture allowed and added to the individual expression in djing, when i first started going out to nightclubs back in the 80's djs would play from 10pm to about 3 of 4am before even touching crossover, then they'd F'uhkin go crazy at like 5 til closing.Im some what sure jo & other djs seen this and followed, but try not to be too annoyed, its true that house is a feeling!
hmmm. maybe there should be No Cameras on the Dancefloor...whew.. this is great stuff. it deserves the Honor of Sweat from Every Body in the place... such a beautiful soulful opening piece... do you feel me on that?
what song is that joe clausell playing. the beat is killer and fire. I remember back in day .. name of track. 5.02 it almost sounds like the I wear my sunglasses house mix
Also what i saw back in the day was when a dj did rock really really hard, the crowd would break out into a spontanious dancing combustin and im more sure that jo and other djs seen that and it just stuck with them, when i first heard jo in person,he'd start doing his thing and people would be like HOLY SHIT,WHO THE FUQ IS THAT,and would be trying t catch a look at who was djing(BODY & SOUL@6 Hubert Street,1994)
LOL that was funny but so so true.. saw him at Deep in Hollywood a few years back and I was over it after an hour. I said never again and never have... when he does that shit, it sucks the vibe right out of the room. maybe they like that shit in europe but for us ORIGINAL house headz from the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) it's annyoing as fuck!!
Joe gets on my nerves!........ let the song play!......The song "What a sensation" already goes through it's paces without him over-pushing the knobs!...Fran & Danny know not to work the crowd, ......but Joe........Just ANNOYS ME!
Hehe, I have to agree with this comment. When I first heard JC meddling about with the tune, I thought 'this man is genius!' ..THEN I listened to the tune WITHOUT all the carry on and was like ' he could have left it alone actually'😏... however, it's a great tune!😊
To "MrLooweed"....I've seen his "Approach up close and personal"...and the song doesn't really need his annoying..knob turning!.....He only irratates me, and more than a few other people I know who stomped with the best of them!....Leave the"Trance" act at home!!...or better yet.....Take your "Meds" before getting behind the turntables!!
I've seen the 3 of them many times. Francois K can't beat match properly, most mixes are out of tempo.. I couldn't believe that!! Joe Claussel is so annoying playing with the EQ non-stop... that kills everything :( Danny Krivit is a better DJ among those 3.
One of the best dj in the world, this Is real music and Real House music
deep disco
Joe claussell the king of the mix

The "Swami" act is getting a bit dated as well!
You just don't understand his approach of music man too bad for u
that's not funny man! NOT funny! lol
;)-
I can't help it but I still find Joe's style annoying. I absolutely adore his production but the constant meddling kills it for me.
