I love when he said, "I am still waiting on that tree to fruit to try the fruit" you ask how long ago you planted it? and he said, 20 years ago. Patience is a virtue!
Isn't he a book author? That was all interesting it's been a long time since I've been in the woods, that wasn't as deep woodsy like in the middle of nowhere but it was different than the average home yard. Thanks Paul
I can't believe what he is able to grow there in zone 9a. I live in a zone 9a and I don't dare try to grow half of what he is right now. Maybe one day I will try.
Just started me some pond apples for rootstock , nothing has germinated yet but thats fruit , fruit seeds take patience and luck lol Didnt even realize seeds could he difficult to germinate untill instarted doing fruit seeds and failed
Your video cover image is misleading… I watched almost all the hour video waiting to see those jaboticabas as the image. Finally, realized that there is nothing like that on the video… Very disappointing…
It's nice to hear about other gardener experiences, but the quality of the video .. ideally to focus more on a tree - show bloom & fruit and pick better focus, so it's not that dark

So glad to see you made a video with the OG Charles Novak 🙏
Paul, there are a lot of older people like him who have belonged to the rare fruit society's. They have amazing collections of fruit trees.
If you are older life goes as happy as you are! You have a beautiful life there!
the man the myth the legend. thank you Paul and Charles!!!
Lots to learn from older persons, thanks for sharing.
Oh boy i wish i was his understudy. Such a wealth of knowledge!!
Beautiful property and very inspirational tour. This is my dream, to have my own piece of land that I can tend to like this.
Amazing knowledge from this gentleman, I wish I could spend a day in his presence to learn.

You can eat the flower of the peanut grass! It tastes like the sprouts you might want on a salad or sandwich!

Pawpaws? I didn't think anyone knew what those were. Great video.

So jabo cuttings can be rooted!?
Kinda glossed right over that potential gem of information.
Yes 🙌 buy the rights tree 🌳 some vendors like to use new name promoting $$& flu around says good buy but turns out was not good!
Has he written any books or papers about his fruit journeys?
We usually go to freeze at Christmas so we have to pick our orange tree by Christmas!
What’s the tree at 58:10? I have one and don’t know what is
I believe it is a Kwai Muk
Her in California 9A we have only one freeze at Christmas!
Shalom Paul, I live 10 min from plant city!
I wonder how he'd gotten most of his seeds, cuttings etc to start his food forest?
What's the name of the lilac flowering tree next to the pole in the front of his yard?
I am so far!
I am in 9A in California.
TY
