    Lots of wisdom on all those years of experience. It is good to spread and preserve. We do need more plants specifically adapted to this environment. That's why I like planting from seed.

    I,along with a couple of friends have designed a greenhouse ,not only for subtropical and tropical fruit trees,but also a greenhouse for ultra tropical like purple mangosteen, wani/white mangos,salak,pulasan,and others.
    Thanks to your videos and the knowledge you freely share,you have helped us ad features for greater success.
    Hopefully the construction will start in the spring of 2025 if funding keeps coming in from investors who have a genuine love for,not only common fruits,but rare ones like you have successfully grown.
    Thank you.👍

    lichee can get bad red mite too.

    • @fruitlovers
      @fruitlovers 2 месяца назад

      Erinose mite. Almost all lychee trees here in Hawaii have it. Mostly a serious problem on very young trees. Once the tree is adult they are not affected too much usually. If they are then can spray with wettable sulphur.

    Tarping the durian floor to block out water…?

    • @fruitlovers
      @fruitlovers 2 месяца назад +1

      Tarping only helps slow down water absorpiton from rain when plants are up on a mound or on an slope. This particular tree is on totally flat ground, so would not help much.
