Fun Fact(s) from someone who grew up w/ the 1st film: 23:02 is a reference to the dance fight Puss & Kitty had before she revealed her identity, *&* she wore the same mask that she uses in this film!! Oh, & Puss had vibes w/ her before she unmasked herself & found out that she was a woman, lmao. 💀💀
I too don't get why Doug found the reveal of the wolf being the embodiment of Death to be obvious. I mean, yeah his intro has hints, like his sickles, his teleportation abilities, his red eyes, and the fact that he's the first one to beat Puss in battle, but Puss could just assume he's a just a scary bounty hunter with amazing stealth and combat abilities. And those times where he pops out if nowhere before he meets Puss in person, he could've just assumed that was PTSD.
The only reason people compared this film to VELMA is because VELMA had its own representation of panic attacks, but everyone got super pressed about how poorly they represented them, and so everyone started to compare the panic attacks in VELMA to the one in The Last Wish (which is definitely WAY more realistic and better depicted, of course) Edit: I'd like to say, outside of that bit of context, that this film is ABSOLUTELY incredible!! I'm so happy it's been getting the recognition it deserves. Knowing people still talk about it and create fanart for it is so heartwarming. I hope Dreamworks takes many notes from this to continue making more amazing movies
I thought it was the comparison that it was during the time when creators were making things that nobody wanted that's just a dumb Theory I hope that's not the case
Honestly, I forgot there was even a panic attack in this movie until I saw people making the comparison online. I guess that speaks volumes to how *not* stereotypical or over-the-top it’s portrayed.
I can't help but agree that this movie is absolutely unbelievable! "Puss In Boots: The Last Wish" is a great movie on its own! I never watched the first "Puss In Boots", but I still think that its sequel is an outstanding animated movie that tries to go its own direction with its characters, story, and lesson. I LOVE THAT!!! Overall, I absolutely love "Puss In Boots: The Last Wish"!
I am no fan of Disney, but it's funny that people treating Dreamworks has been always ahead of Disney. I mean does anybody remember such classic like Turbo??
@@Eccegato I'm not saying they're constantly on top but with The Bad Guys into Puss In Boots 2 last year and hopefully Ruby Gillman this year, you can't deny they're putting Disney to shame when it comes to animated movies right now.
it's a good reaction vid for sure, but ngl this is the only way for me to see the vid atm because for some reason doug made the review not available in my country. it wasn't that youtube blocked it, it specifically said that the uploader blocked it and i have NO idea why D:
What's your opinion on the writer strike and the actors strike? I didn't know about it until I heard Fran Drescher talking about it and I am 100% on Fran Drescher's side. It's sad that Studios don't care for their writers and actors and mainly just care for money and AI which is replacing a lot of people. And what is your opinion on Bob Iger that a lot of people hate now?
I don't get NC's issue with puss taking so long to find out who the wolf is. I went into this movie completely blind, and I didn't figure it out until Puss did. I just thought the wolf was a really skilled bounty hunter.
5:27 Yeah, um… you know Antonio Banderas is *white,* right? And that Spain is a predominantly white country? It really annoys me when those American limeys don’t know the difference between Spain and Mexico.
God this movie is a masterpiece ❤
Absolutely I adore this movie

NC sometimes reminds me of MST3K with the skits inserted in.
Well yeah most of the people associated with him use a similar style
Doug was actually heavily inspired by MST3K.
I do agree who cares that he founds out that he's death until the ending to be honest I actually thought he was what puss said A BOUNTY HUNTER
Exactly
DreamWorks Does What Dis-Nope!

I wish I could do my own reaction vid but I can't for similar reasons it's ridiculous
It's why I'm chopping it up into shorts
Nah RUclips didn't make it available, not Channel Awesome

Yeah of course I agree some actors are criminally under paid

Yes I do my family is from Galicia so I don't understand what your point is
Anybody know why the review is unavaliable in other countries?
Universal is very greedy
