- Here is the continuation of the tutorial for the Sweet Day Mini Album.
Here are the measurements for cutting your design paper.
Pages - 12 @ 5-7/8 x 5-7/8
Page Inserts - 12 @ 5-3/8 x 5-5/8 also 12 @ 3/4 x 5-5/8
Front Cover - 2 @ 3-1/8 x 6-1/8
Back Cover - 6-3/8 x 6-1/8
Spine - 2 @ 1-5/8 x 6-1/8
Cardstock for inside back flap 5 x 6-3/8

I decided to use your tutorial to create a baby album for a friend of mine and I have to tell you, Ginger, that this is one beautiful album! I've been watching your videos for some time now and really like your style - I prefer your neat, clean style that is also very beautiful. It's such a simple album to make, too, so thanks VERY much for sharing your creativity and wonderful style!

Such a great tutorial, I love all your work... you are a pro for letting us know how you do your fabulous work! I have a little trick for you... if you don't want to tear your paper when you fold your paper on the hinges you can take a damp rag and slightly run it where you are going to fold your paper... it won't tear. Awesome tutorial!! This is my next project! I did the one that was about 6 or 7 parts using the paper bags and it turned out so cute!! Made it for pics of one of my grandaughters! Can't wait to make this one!!
Oh, and one other thing: I have the "miter" tool and really love it! In addition to making really great mitered corners, I also use it to space the chipboard pieces and have found the thickness of the tool to be perfect for spacing the parts perfectly. It's an awesome tool.

it is just personal preference. Use whatever adhesive you like. I prefer Scor-tape whenever I want something to stick really well. Again, use whatever you prefer.

I just like the look of having a small border of the kraft cardstock around my paper. Glad you like the ruler.

Great tutorial! I like to add the tape to the hinges before i attach it to the album. I find it is easier for me.

Thanks! I did a tutorial series back in January on a vertical paper bag mini album. Er are 5 videos in the series. I show step by step instructions on how to create the waterfall in that tutorial series. I think the waterfall piece is featured in the creating the cover or it!s e decorating the cover.

i too bought the Perfect trim ruler and it is one of my favorite tools . Rita, Sorry, but I gave the mini album away so I don't have it anymore. I did do a tutorial on the waterfall piece in my Vertical Paper Bag Mini A;bum Series. You could use that tutorial as a guideline. thanks!
Mine gaps b/w pieces is 3cardstock spaces..still would linkng hinges just 1/2in awa fm the crease b enuf to get me the result
This is s great tutorial, thank you the wonderful instructions. I haven't made a mini album from scratch before, but I am in awe of the ones I have seen. I can imagine how GOJUS this mini will look completed & the papers are beautiful. Okay, here are my questions: 1) Where do you get your Score Tape? 2) Where do you get your chipboard? 3) Is that just neutral C/S that you use to cover this? 4) Where did you purchase the corner/yellow cutting guide?

You are a great person, love ALL of your tutorials. I'm trying to make a trifold mini album, with three waterfalls. Would you make your binding both 1" or one 1" and the other 1 1\2" wide? Thanks! I buy my score tape from ScrapbookPal. I buy my chipboard from Amazon. It is by Grafix and it is medium weight. I used Kraft colored card stock that I purchased from Hobby Lobby and I purchased the perfect

when you do mention your spine and front pieces you do mean for your spine piece 1& 3 quarters wide & 6 & 3 quarters long right ? because on the tape you say 1 & 3 quarters wide and 6 & A quarter long but from my understanding its 6 & 3 quarters long is that right ?l.. because I cut the bored 1 & 3 quarters wide and 6 & a quarter long and its was too short please correct me if am wrong Betty hope to hear from you soon am doing the tutorial now thank you have a bless day betty
