My heart is broken and hurting! I’ve made Gingers mini albums for years now! My youngest daughter is a freshman in college, and I thought I’d make a few of these tp roll mini albums for her friends and teachers. So while I was looking up my favorite design crafter I noticed a tribute to her. So I watched it and found out that Ginger had passed away 6 months ago and I’m just broken in my heart and spirit! What a wonderful lovely and talented friend we’ve lost! I will forever continue to re-watch and re-learn from her videos and her tutorials! I hope she knew just how special she was to all of this crafting world! THANK YOU GINGER FOR ALL YOUR YEARS OF LOVE AND SHARING!!!
Great suggestion using shims for accuracy alighing the folds. I'm new to designing mini albums and impressed with your use with T Tissue rolls. Impressed with your instructions - so clear and easy to follow. Looking forward to viewing your channel.
Thank you so much for sharing your album with us! Your tutorial was wonderful and the album is absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to watch your other videos!
thank you so much for your video. i definitely will be making one of these albums. i appreciate your tip on how to really flatten your TP roll plus the tip on the shim. both are excellent (at least for me). love this video. off to watch part 2.
Thank you so much!! I see all these lovely albums - which I love - but I wondered, how do they cover them to look so nice. Well, you showed us. Thanks!!
I'm going to a crop in a few weeks and I am going to make one of these! Not sure of the theme, I may wing that. Thanks for an awesome tutorial! I had no idea that tp rolls were different sizes!
awesome tutorial i really love how you mention the mesurements more then once very thurough love it. thank you so much for taking the time to create this tut i cant wait to make one i am feelin inspired woot woot lol!!!! mucho hugs, Anna
I've always liked these, but I was worried that it would look like a "toilet paper roll" like you said. Thank you for showing me how to do it your way. You made it very simple to follow! TFS:)
I just loved this idea...never thought of using TP rolls to create a mini album. Thank you for such a great video and for the step by step instructions. You are very creative!!!!.. By the way does it really make a difference on how far apart you make the gap between the pieces when making the cover?, can it be a bit bigger than what you made?
What an engenius idea for the toilet paper rolls, it make it look like that it is in side of an open album case. I think that iI will give it a go and see how it come out . Thank you for sharing raelly enjoyed the video. In His Grace, lorisa aka ellescrapper.
Question - since you are wrapping your TP rolls anyway why not just skip them all together and just use your pattern paper? Do you need the TP roll for support or some thing??
Hi Ginger! This album is so beautiful and I love the Baby print one also. I'm new to chipboard and ordered something that turned out to be way to thin. 😥 Can you please let me know what weight or point or whatever they call it your chipboard is? It looks nice and sturdy. Thanks so much!
Dina Preuss I purchase medium weight chipboard by Grafix. You can get it at a local scrapbook store or from amazon.com. It doesn’t list a point or weight it just says... Medium weight.
Well, I'm going to say either Charmin or Costco's Kirkland brand. Sorry, but we buy our TP at Costco and it's always one of those two. Hope that helps. Ginger
I Ginger. I finally made this album, but when I wrapped it with my solid white card stock the paper cracked a wee bit along the edges of the album. Can you tell me if I did something wrong? And how to prevent cracking in the future? Thanks so much! 💜
Sometimes the cardstock will crack for a couple of reasons. 1. if you didn’t leave enough space between your chipboard. 2. the thickness of the cardstock. When I wrap my cardstock I use a smooth 65lb cardstock that I purchase from Michaels. I don’t use the heavy weight cardstock and I don’t use a textured cardstock. I use the inexpensive 65lb cardstock that you can get in a pack of 50 sheets. It’s usually on sale so that’s when I stock up. I purchase it from Michaels and it’s the Recollections brand that comes in the 8-1/2x11 size.
@@mysistersscrapper Thanks so much for your reply. I got the pack from Joanne's, so I'll have to check if there's a weight on the packaging. I probably just didn't leave enough space. I'm redoing it today. Wish me good luck! 💜
Dina Preuss I’ve tried the paper from Joann’s and wasn’t happy with it. For the price the paper at Michaels is a better value and works really well. Hopefully everything will go good!!
hi mam ur tutorial is too good and as a biginner i also followed easily.but icould not find out the exact mesurements of the album. i request u to present the mesurments in bold and clear way . thank u mamata
The measurements are based on the size of the tissue rolls that I used. You will need to adjust the measurements based on the size of the tissue rolls you are using.
desiree wadsworth It's just a fancy word for thick cardboard. I buy mine online from Amazon.com. I buy the Grafix medium weight chipboard in 12x12 sheets.

I just love the cardstock paper you used! What is the name of it and where can I get it. Love your tutorial!
Sorry I don't know the name. I do know that I purchased it from Hobby Lobby. It was a large 12x12 pad.
Just a thought. Adhere your shim together and make it the same height of your front chip board.
Thanks I will give it a try
Question - since you are wrapping your TP rolls anyway why not just skip them all together and just use your pattern paper? Do you need the TP roll for support or some thing??
starwolf539 you can use the TP rolls or not. I've done both. Using the TP rolls makes the pages more like chipboard.
I was thinking the exact same thing!

@@mysistersscrapper thank you so much. I bought a medium weight chipboard, but it's thinner than a cereal box. 😥
is there a prize if we count how many times you say "toilet paper rolls"?
Ummmmm.... I guess....
Where do I find the making of the toilet rolls

Linda Graham all of this information is given I. This video tutorial.

Hi got a new atg gun today you make it look so easy to use aggggghhhhh
What size chipboard did you use? Did you use lightweight or heavy?

This is all new to me. I get how to make the album, but what is the album for? What does it do?
zombiesneedluv21 It’s a place for you to put small 2x3 photos in.
Ahhh, well that makes sense! Thanks for the quick reply! Have a great day!
Is this type of tape best?, will double sided tape work?
desiree wadsworth You need to use a super strong double sided adhesive. I prefer score-tape.
willing u give me the. measurements for the mini album cover
Linda Graham all of the measurements are given in this video tutorial.

just curious what size are you tp rolls, don't mean to get to personal, lol but what brand do you use, oh my gosh i can't stop laughing
trish k Lol! I use toilet paper from Costco. It's their brand. The toilet paper rolls measure 4-1/2x2-3/4 when flattened.
8 liked toilet paper journals on to wonky houses
