How to get a BlueBird Taxi at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport | Arrival at Bali Airport

Follow along and see how to get a BlueBird Taxi at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Special rules apply to the airport where Ngurah Rai Airport Taxi holds a taxi monopoly at the arrivals gate.
BlueBird is the most reputable meter taxis in Bali.
They do not have a license to pick-up customers, but are allowed to drop customers at the Bali airport (Departure Terminal - Level 3).
So, after arrival gate, take the elevator to 3rd floor where the International Departure Terminal is and quickly hop into a BlueBird taxi who has just dropped off customers to Departure Terminal.
This video will be helping other fellow travelers/first timers to Bali, starting their trip to this little Slice of Paradise with less stress.

BUT, they are allowed to dropp off passengers (at Departures area Level 3) 😊

Wauw this is nice. We will do this next time we are in bali. I prefer to give the honest bluebird driver with the meter a nice tip then to pay way to much at the airport. Thank you!

This is what I always do now and I give the driver a generous tip at my destination in Legian. It is still cheaper than those ripoff taxi mafia pricks who operate the taxi booth outside the arrivals hall

and if you at domestic terminal just go to departure terminal and wait until the taxi come to delivery someone than after that u can jump in to the taxi. and do that everytime i go to bali

I always tip bluebird too for being honest and reliable.. i would have given that guy a 50k note and not batted an eyelid

Blue Bird Taxi's colour is Cool Blue with its logo, while the Airport mafia Taxi is Dark Blue, actually is quite easy to see the difference, but I suggest only Blue Bird Taxi or Grab Car

Do you have to ask them to turn on the meter or do they do so automatically? Or is it a fixed price? Do you tip the driver? If so, how much?

You tell them your destination and automatically they (Bluebird taxi) turn on the meter. You can tip the driver 10%

Is it safe? I mean as i know bluebird taxi only allow to drop the passnger not to picking up the passsnger, i just worry if the security catch the taxi.
